This is pleasant, the male's accompanying vocals are a nice addition.

Excuse me, this is the best you're gonna get. I like to think this pic is a satire of the nation who seems to think cell phones are so vital they even talk on them while people are taking their photo. Needless to say I wasn't connected to any call and I used the auto-shoot to take my picture. No humans required.

She's one of the first products of "Myspace Records" and initially I turned a deaf ear to her after seeing countless advertisements, receiving numerous messages and bulletins on myspace about her. Well I came across the song on youtube and I regret my actions. She's definitely sounding like Michelle Branch part 2, but I really like this track "Only Fooling Myself." I heard the original (or demo) version and the radio edit and it's great. Very catchy. I'm shocked CHR/POP hasn't latched onto it. It started out really well with around a +100 bullet, but that didn't last. The video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oChxvdOnNo

I haven't heard this yet, but I'm really hoping the album isn't as awful as "Splinter."

It's under $10 regular price at Target. Very much worth the money. Although I got s***ted out of seeing him live this weekend, that was a big disappointment. He has an interesting background, he was kidnapped by his biological dad when he was a small child and taken to a middle eastern country, (I believe Jordan) and his mom had to fight and go through a insane legal process to get him back. That has to be hard for a child.

I gave it a try, but can't get over the fact that he looks like Napoleon Dynamite. This is a cheap song, something even Abercrombie would pass on and I'd likely hear walking by "Lane Bryant."

f***in A! What blows my mind is that "Saving Abel" still has a bullet while Jimmy Eat World struggles. If "Addicted" makes the top 20, it'll be the death of Alternative.

That may have been when we were trying to spite "gpduke." There was a Joyce Drake song that made like the final four. What's it really matter who won the thing. "Don't even get me started! Don't even get me started!" [/Awful Comedian played by Julia Louis Dreyfus]

I browsed back to see the previous winners..
Kanye West "Strong" and a tie between Amy Winehouse "Rehab" and Muse "Supermassive Blackhole."
Now how on earth did ya'll manage a tie when Muse clearly should have won.
I'm going to project Coldplay will win this one, although they may end up losing out a little short of the win. How many songs will compete?

Could they be any more cookie cutter? I noticed them leaping near the top 50 a week or so ago and despite hating their name I was curious. I heard it now when the video came up on youtube, and I definitely hate it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGYtBOPQhMIStupid video too. 54 49 FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS Whoa Oh 436 314 122 0.997 And the "woah oh" is completely idiotic. I hope the song crashes and burns.

They actually cut it when they got to the top 12, I think. Apparently "so long, put your blue jeans back on girl, go home..Remember, Hollywood's not America."
They replaced it with a cheap "We Celebrate You" or something from Ruben. So thanks to them for launching it, but now it's struggling. His album hasn't even made the top 200 any week, let alone his debut.

'DC Madam' found dead in Florida news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7378654.stmInteresting news...she commited suicide vs. up to 55 years in prison. One less wasting tax payer dollars, I suppose.

I was the first to choose "f*** 'em both."
Originally myspace was a lot of fun, then it went to the dumps when little brats ruined it. Then facebook came and saved the nation. Then they added 'applications' and high school, then anyone and ruined themselves. Now myspace is fighting back with applications and musicians are only putting up 30 second clips instead of full songs. f*** 'em both.

I listened to the first minute of the song on All Access and turned it off. Why does this almost have a +1000 bullet on pop? I don't get it. Maybe I need to listen to the whole thing a few times to get it, but this seems overrated. I absolutely agree. When I saw it jumping up the chart when it leaked or whatever, I expected a somewhat decent song. Far from it, lyrics are a joke. Although she has a tendency to have awful lyrics.

After a performance on Jay Leno tuesday, and American Idol wednesday this has jumped from around #15 to #2 on iTunes behind "Bleeding Love" which was performed on American Idol the week before. Hmm, could we use American Idol year round to save the record industry? ha!

He's gotten minimal play on alternative with his single, "Hollywood's Not America," but really I'd say he's much more an alternative artist than CHR/POP. I sort of impulsively bought his album after sampling a few songs on his myspace previously. I'm glad I did, it's got a great vibe to it. Like I said in the post title it very much runs along the lines of Keane and Jack's Mannequin. If you listen to songs like "Everybody Bleeds The Same," and "Something About You" you should see the similarities. Still he's a pretty good songwriter and his vocals are actually really good. There isn't a song I dislike on the album. I like the two ballads "Rush" and "Take My Lips."Overall, a really good album, but the single isn't representative, I think.

At first I thought 182 was somewhat low, then I realized all the radio stations were probably having the same problem with the download. Only took me twice, though I was really stubborn and kept trying the first one until I realized I should try another email address and it worked almost right away.

Ha my mistake. I'm having trouble with this download. Very frustrating.
Edit: got it! Pretty good so far. Definitely worth the hype.
