Meh, I'm just in it for the Black Friday considering we already had ours a month ago.

So it looks like Rock Band is finally being ported to the Wii. It's coming out on June 22, but there are some catches:
- No online play - No downloadable content, but it will come with 5 extra songs - Guitar is not compatible with Guitar Hero III
I'll probably still end up getting it though...

Okay, I finally played this for the first time last night while I was over at my friend's party and now I want it, haha. If only it would come out for the Wii already.
The drums are so much fun to play with. The only problem with this game is that it was hard to get someone to be the singer, and to add to that problem, people that do want to sing don't know all of songs in the songlist. So for the majority of the night we ended up playing the same 5 songs over and over again, lol.
But yeah, definitely fun and definitely the ultimate party game.

I was at Fry's the other day (damn you Americans and your wonderful stores that we don't have in Canada) and I saw that there is actually a PC version of Guitar Hero III for those of you without the latest video game consoles. As well, I just read today that a Mac version will come out soon too.

Oh boo, this is only coming out on Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3. No love for the Wii.

As much fun as it may sound, it just sounds way too expensive and not practical unless you have a lot of people over all the time. I can't imagine being that fun with 1 or 2 players. Guitar Hero III sounds like a better alternative.

That's really scary. I noticed on the weather channel earlier that parts of southern California were in the 90s earlier today. That can't be good when it comes to trying to stop the fires. Well it certainly didn't help that the strong Santa Ana winds were helping the fires to spread. There have been over 500,000 people evacuated in San Diego county. Thankfully, it seems like the weather seems to be improving now although it may take up to a week for all the fires to be contained. Many evacuation notices have been taken off and it looks like I have to go back to work tomorrow.

No really, it is.
There are currently wildfires in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.
Over 220,000 people evacuated so far in San Diego county where there are 8 fires. Fortunately, it hasn't gone to around me yet and I don't need to evacuate.
Today when I was going into work, there was barely any traffic on I-805 and there was barely anyone at work. I was told by my boss to go home and work from home instead. I just got another phone call saying the same will happen for tomorrow too.
I can smell the smoke from here, but from my work, I can definitely see ashes flying around.

I liked the first one, but the second one was so disappointing that I didn't bother watching the third. I thought the first one was actually clever and second one was just a typical gore movie that tries too hard to be smart.

Today's episode was great and it looks like it's gonna be back on track... Okay, I finally watched it last night and I see where you're coming from, lol. It's getting exciting again. But the whole Hiro-in-Japan was dragged way too long, Peter's emoness and lost of memory were unnecessary and the cheezy lovefests were cringe-worthy.

Does anyone else watch this show? This is like the only show I follow right now since Lost isn't coming back until February. Season One started out interesting but I was rather disappointed with the finale. There are way too many plot holes. The Season Two premiere last week didn't really wow me either. It seems like it's one big hot mess and it's all over the place now.

Ugh, ew. I played the original game for PS and while it was a good game... all, I mean ALL movies based on video games suck, with no exceptions!
The Resident Evil franchise has gore for the sake of gore. It's not even scary or exciting, and the second movie was terrible (even though the fight scene towards the end was filmed in the Toronto City Hall, which I guess was kinda interesting... or something). As for being highly praised, the first two movies got 33% and 20% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Okay, I'm blind. So after some math, I listen to 36.8 songs (that are tracked) per day. Interesting.

There's no thread on employment in here, so I figured I shall start one.
I'm starting my next co-op/internship term in September and I have just secured myself a job. I'll be working for QUALCOMM in San Diego! Apparently they're ranked #14 on Fortune's 100 Companies to Work For 2007.
Isn't it creepy to realize that I'll be in the same city as you, Davey?

Maybe as a collector's item or something?
I doubt it'd worth much considering *recent* current generation CPU chips you can find on eBay for less than $40 each.

Uploaded.
There are two versions, not sure which one you wanted. There's the album version which is labelled with the prefix 11 and the original radio version. However, both versions are played on the radio. You'd notice the difference when you get to the chorus after the first verse.

Well, a lot of times, I tend to download both the album and radio edit/clean versions of the same song for personal listening and airing on HitzRadio respectively. Usually, I would label each version of the songs differently if I was purposely looking for that version (you have no idea how neatly tagged my music library is!), but since the only version of that song I have wasn't the album version, I must've downloaded it as part of a Promo Only compilation, which is a regularly-released compilation containing radio edits of radio releases. So, since you told me the version I had was clean, I just jumped on Limewire and downloaded the album version.

My bad. Didn't realize I had the clean version (I guess that part was the only part that had swearing). I uploaded the unedited version now, same link.
