Meh, I'm just in it for the Black Friday considering we already had ours a month ago.

Meh, it actually wasn't that good for me, to be honest. What with the Jets getting their asses handed to them on a golden platter by the Cowboys (not that I wasn't expecting it), to about 20 other people roaming around the house, to a gradually building headache I had, to the fact that I wound up falling asleep for over an hour in my room after dinner and missed pie being served (though I still managed to snag three slices from different flavors each). Not to mention the weird-ass tryptophan-tripping dreams I had that night, or the fact that I forgot to have cranberry sauce, which is a staple of my Thanksgiving diet. But other than that, it was alright.

Basically the same thing I said last year. LOL Meh, I'm just in it for the Black Friday considering we already had ours a month ago. Me too! lol. Although I won't actually be in San Diego for this Thanksgiving. Later this morning I'll be flying up to San Francisco until Sunday, and then to Seattle until Tuesday. I'm excited.

Hey, Superiorites! I hope your holiday has gone well thus far, and continues to do so. I'm certainly thankful to have such a great group of music-oriented folks with whom to discuss, from whom to learn, and mainly, from whom I can derive enjoyment. So, yeah - Happy Thanksgiving! Peace.

I sure did.

It was a melancholy Thanksgiving for me, as my dog, Windville, was put to sleep on Friday. He'd been suffering from dementia for some time, aimlessly wandering the house, constantly standing over his food, and getting harassed by his sister; I guess she could see what was wrong with him and was reacting the only way she could. What made it sadder was that I wasn't able to see him one last time before he was gone, but I kinda figured that after I left for the east coast, at least one of my dogs would be put down, given their age.

Aw, buddy, that's really sad. I can relate. Last year, one of our two family cats died in her sleep a few days after Thanksgiving. Apparently, Thanksgiving, when I was home, was the last good day she had. I'm grateful I got to see her that one last time. Her health had been failing for quite some time and we didn't expect her to live very long into this year, but I at least thought she'd make it to 2008. Her son's still doing okay, though.

Well it's my first American Thanksgiving in 3 years to be spent north of the U.S. border, so happy Thursday everyone! Now I'm envious of your Black Friday sales.
