Well I was about to laughingly and exasperatedly acknowledge my newfound twist of fate, but at the last few seconds before clicking "reply," my brain came up with it: 27. Atreyu "Right Side of the Bed" Which is correct. Four-fifths of the chart have now been guessed. Here are the new standings: 23 - Mega248 16 - crash46 12.5 - a Nick O! 11.5 - halo19 11 - friday 4 - jcmf3 2 - radical347 1 - bellhorn12 1 - slinky

Damn, I can't believe I missed Green Day, especially when the "I'm Not Okay" clue was kind of tricky.

18. Anberlin- "Paperthin Hymn" (for some reason the lyric didn't even seem remotely familiar a couple hours ago, but I figured it out almost instantly when I looked at it just now.)

20. "Now we both have separate lives and lovers" This doesn't have a realistic chance of being guessed by lyrics, so I'll say it's by an artist that has already been guessed correctly in this group.
16. "Nobody's laughing now/But[/b] you could always make me laugh"
15. "The sun has set, all darkens"[/b]
14. "might be the same/[/b]But I won't fight for more"

20. "Now we both have separate lives and lovers" This doesn't have a realistic chance of being guessed by lyrics, so I'll say it's by an artist that has already been guessed correctly in this group. The song is by Anberlin, and had a video. The song is still in my top 100 (and my top 100 can be found in this forum).
15. "The sun has set, all darkens/Buried underneath, hands slip off the wheel"[/b] (Really, no one knows this?)[/s]
12. Peaked at #1 N&A on the Alternative chart. The album got Pitchfork's highest honor. The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) (Mega248)
11. The determination of a male. Coldplay - Speed of Sound (Mega248)
10. "People say that you'll die" The Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies) (halo19)
9. Hit #1 for one week on the R&R Christian Rock chart. Falling Up - Escalates (Mega248)
This is where the guessing game grinds to a screeching halt. Numbers 8, 7, and 6 are all by the same artist, and all three are album tracks. They have one-fourth of the top 20 songs of the year. The tracks that make up these three closely approximate a Brian McKnight song, if you switched the first two parts of the title around. I hope that wasn't too confusing, but we'll see. 8. Anberlin - the Feel Good Drag 7. Anberlin - the Runaways 6. Anberlin - dance, dance Christa Päffgen (all guessed by friday)

Well then I'll make that my #10 guess . I was hoping you would. Side note: Ethan, I was able to guess this song on your guessing game because I'd scoured the lyrics in preparation for this clue.

Final clue for #15: "The sun has set , all darkens/Buried underneath, hands slip off the wheel/Internal pathway to contention"[/b] If no one gets it after this, I'm just going to give it away with no points awarded. For #11, the clue refers to the album that the song is on. For #9, keep in mind that it's a Christian radio song. For #8/7/6, I don't think it's incredibly hard, actually. I'm quite proud of the clue. Just think of a Brian McKnight song that would logically fit, and if you're thinking of the correct artist, you'll be on track.

I think that I'll just have to think more of the artist on 8/7/6.
But I do know that number 15 is "Happy?" by Mudvayne.

8) Green Day - She's A Rebel 7) Green Day - St. Jimmy 6) Green Day - Homecoming None of those are right, but you've successfully removed one artist from consideration.
