Are these the final list of forums that this place will have or is it just an example of how it will look?
G'luck guys!

Thanks for coming, The Max.
For the time being, this is what the board structure is going to look like. One thing I don't want to do is make things exactly the same as they were at Pulses board; especially since it already serves the same basic purpose.
I figured, we don't really need a board for each radio format, and then another board where we give our opinions on songs from any format. They both can go on the same board. Especially when right now there's only like 6 members here.
If things become more active and we need to create other boards, that's probably what's gonna happen.

Yeah, I always thought opinions and chart stats and everything about a particular song should just all stay in one topic and I'm guessing this board isn't going to serve the purpose of R&R's "unofficial" board but more of a music discussion board for fans of music and music charts.

Would I get banned if I questioned the opinion of a moderator? I once told MariahJanet not to double post or something like that right after I was banned and I was banned again for another week because I talked back to him or something along those lines. If a moderator tells someone not to double post and then double posts themselves and I say "you shouldn't double post", will I get banned?

Why? Do you question my opinions? I'm working on a FAQ that'll handle questions like that one, but for a quick answer, of course not. The difference between the admins here and the admins there, is that there, they expect people to respect the admins only because they have the power to kick you out if you don't. Their only objective is to make things easier on themselves, and not necessarily to carry out the best interests of the members. On this board, the rules you have to follow are the rules the admins have to follow as well.

Since Jeffster and I are here, and we are both big Christian music fans, could we have a Christian music forum? Or, at the very least, another forum that would be designed to talk about other genres of music?

Well, I figure at this point the two of you would make for a more active forum than Urban, or even Pop. So, what the H.
Do you know of any members of the other Christian board who miss you guys that'd maybe want to come over here? I can't say I've ever visited that part of the forum, so I don't really know who posts there.

When can we start inviting people over? We're slowly inviting people over, but we want to make sure this board doesn't get too big too fast (i.e, end up with a lot of pointless posts). If there are a couple people that you'd really like to have here, that you feel would make positive contributions to this board, feel free to invite 'em.

There should probably be some sort of miscellaneous music board as well. This way we can talk about albums and other topics as well as have a place for games and tournaments that wouldn't fit any of the other boards.

There should probably be some sort of miscellaneous music board as well. This way we can talk about albums and other topics as well as have a place for games and tournaments that wouldn't fit any of the other boards. As for the albums, for now, we can talk about them in their respective format boards. On any specific format board, one may discuss any singles, the charts, new releases, new albums, added and dropped radio stations....basically anything pertaining to that format. I just think that makes the most sense, plus with fewer members, I'd rather have more posts spread across less forums than for it to be the other way around. I'm not worried about anything being lost in the shuffle for now. I must admit I kind of like the idea of a board for games and tournaments. I was thinking when we have our guessing games it would just be part of the Personal Charts board (since that's pretty much what they're based on to begin with). But that essentially leaves no place for any tournaments, and those can really raise the involvement level of this board, which would be a good thing. And it's different...another plus.
