I'd never heard the full album cut of "Through the Glass." How long is it, exactly? It's 4:42.

With "Paralyzed," I meant that (I believe) you said you flipped it to the original part of the way through, and what I'm saying is that the original I always heard was slightly different. That makes it more interesting then. I've never heard it on the radio, so the radio edit could be totally different for all I know.

Who the hell is Joe that introduced Disturbed? That's not you having a goof on Joe (The Man) who used to post at Pulse, is it? And was the clipping (the crackles when he raised his voice) out of your control? It's not me having a goof on Joe, but it is someone else. And yes, it was a submitted clip, so I couldn't control the crackles. Interesting how you flipped "Dance, Dance" to a remix for the last chorus and blended it with a remix of "Paralyzed." (Although the version of the latter I always heard is a little different than what you switched it to. I used the only remix I had access to (the Rhys Fulber mix); that's not to say others are out there.

So you bump it and I click on 'em, and they're no longer there? Why would you bump it then, if they're gone, Matt? Why would you bump it? That must mean no one has downloaded it in the past 30 days. Yay And I didn't even ask!

I'm the beginning stages of making a top 30 countdown "broadcast", so the game aspect of this is kinda moot. I think Ethan won it though (and from what songs are on my top 30, there's little reason to think someone would have overtaken him). Congrats!
Look for the finished countdown sometime in the next 2 weeks.

I should've gotten it with "in the hearts of men". 33. Tool - Vicarious You definitely weren't the person I expected to get that, but you're correct. That rounds out the first 76. I'm going to take this weekend off, while I contemplate whether to scrape together an audio countdown of the top 30.

New lyric for #33: That's what I get for posting lyrics without listening to the songs to confirm (again). There were at least 3 variations of the old clue for #33, so I'm throwing it out. Here's the new one:
33. Believe in angels

32 is "Miss Murder" by AFI. I would've been f***ed if you had used some of the soft/screamed lyrics in the bridge. Correct. Do you mean if I had used the radio edit version? I thought about using lyrics from that section, but didn't feel like searching for them. I'm probably wrong, but is #31 30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill? That's right, good job. F***, you're right. "You say you wanted more/What are you waiting for/I'm not running from you" I had to be a little more vague with that one. The number of lines in this song is fewer than average, so 5 or 6 words would have meant a whole line (and close to a dead giveaway). 35. She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart Got it.

40. Pull the curtain down 39. Wherever you lead, I'll follow 38. I've come undone 37. Chances come and chances leave 36. I know the ocean speaks Thrice "Red Sky" (halo19) 35. It was making him crazy She Wants Revenge "Tear You Apart" (radical347) 34. Coughing and choking Three 6 Mafia "Stay Fly" (jcmf3) 33. Believe in angels 32. How they all adored him AFI "Miss Murder" (Nick) 31. You wanted more 30 Seconds to Mars "The Kill" (picpak)

Ah, that would be "Honestly" by Cartel. (I can't even remember how the song goes.) Correct, of course. And the other referenced song is Aaron Carter's "That's How I Beat Shaq". Dude stopped bleaching his hair because Aaron Carter immediately follows Cartel in the CD bins. Haha, I didn't even think about that. Double whammy!
Next set of clues will be up tomorrow evening.

41. How can we resolve this now? We let it go and wonder how this can ever be the same [The lead singer has been compared to a pop star who once boasted of triumphing over a basketball player at his own game. If you were watching the Florida-Kentucky game, you probably would have heard this song.]

I looked back at your personal charts. I saw a song by Snow Patrol that I think is an album track (I never heard of it). Plus, it matched part of the lyric. 47) Snow Patrol - Shut Your Eyes That's correct.
