Music videoThis was their first top 40 hit. I've been discovering a lot of their non- Kick singles lately. Songs like "This Time," "Listen Like Thieves," "Kiss the Dirt," and "Elegantly Wasted" are all woefully underrepresented on radio today, and this one is among them. I mean, along with Bono, Mike Hutchence was probably the most dynamic and engaging frontman of the 80s. He easily had one of the best voices in modern rock in his day. I didn't pay much attention when he killed himself ten years ago, but as I think about it a little more, that was such a huge loss for music. And you know, if he hadn't died, I'd bet INXS would've probably cemented themselves along with U2, Depeche Mode and New Order as one of the great alternative rock bands of all time. And checking out some of their other videos on Youtube, this was a great video band as well, due in no small part to Hutchence's magnetism. I mean, there are certain bands that you can tell just intrinsically know what they're doing when making videos, and as such, consistently make great videos. Hell, they even take a simple performance clip like "Don't Change" and turn it into gold. This was just truly a kickass group, and, despite the current incarnation today, it's a shame they'll never be what they should've been.

Glad to see a tribute to INXS on here. Although I was already paying attention during most of their '90's output, and very much remember when Hutchence bizarrely killed himself and how vague the details were at first, and have had their '94 greatest hits album on my list to get for years, you seem like you're already a considerably bigger fan than I am.
I'd argue that they made just as much of an impact as New Order and could give Depeche Mode some strong competition. Keep in mind that most of what these bands are known for is their '80's body of work.

My favorite by them... although I don't think I heard it until after their 90s semi-hits. I heard a dance mix of this at the gym yesterday.
