Heh, I kind of thought it would be interesting to discuss. I guess what gets to my interest is that when I first started buying CD's I never really thought of selling anything; there's usually a song or a few that drove me to buy the CD. However, I've realized in both getting into my own apartment and now living there that there are other things that my expenses are more important for using, and in some cases it's unfortunate. Well, a couple of the times I was bored and realized I didn't care overall for some of them, too. I'll also add CD's I once owned & consciously disowned when I can remember.
Last fall:
Tracy Chapman (At the time I decided I never really listen to it so I just gave it away. I kind of would rather hear a retrospective of her music instead.)
Montell Jordan - Get It On... Tonite
Lit - Atomic (*yawn*.. And this coming from someone who owns the other 3 albums & enjoys them.)
Stroke 9 - Nasty Little Thoughts (Save TC, I don't care to give these a second chance.)
Worth a total of 5 bucks. Meh.
June:
Tori Amos - Crucify (EP)
Collective Soul
Fall Out Boy - Inifnity on High (Extra copy.)
The Killers - Sam's Town (Extra copy.)
Papa Roach - The Paramour Sessions
Radiohead - My Iron Lung (EP) (More targeted for die-hards anyway; apart from acoustic "Creep" and title track it's pretty middle of the road.)
Busta Rhymes - The Big Bang (If only he never released that godawful "I Love My Bitch" song I may have felt comfortable still having it. Also why I waited until I could get it for under four bucks.)
Justin Timberlake - Justified (I would like to hear it again since I don't feel I was ever fair towards it.)
The Used (Somewhat regrettably, but figured others may like it more than I did.)
This one was $25 total; I don't know the individual worths.
Today:
Madonna - Confessions on a Dance Floor: $3
The Mars Volta - Amputechture
Psyopus - Our Puzzling Encounters Considered
Beck - Mellow Gold (edited): $2 (figuring I'll get the explicit one later)
Helmet - Strap It On
Hot Hot Heat - Scenes One Through Thirteen
Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly, Angry Mob (CD/DVD)
Modest Mouse - Everywhere and His Nasty Parlor Tricks (EP) (See Radiohead; apart from "You're the Good Things" which is great I didn't tend to listen to this one.)
Project Pitchfork - Trialog (EP)
Transplants
Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree (limited): $1 (Even for that price I don't think I made a mistake, since I was kind of ripped off of the Mastercard deal on getting it for five bucks earlier, because it happened to be this stupid limited edition. It was placed right at the sale area of the Best Buy rack. WTF. I may get it again if it's STANDARD and pretty damn cheap.)
Soundgarden - Down on the Upside (I found awhile back that I didn't really enjoy them as much on the whole as I initially thought. It's good on its own right, but since I listen to the singles from it and have A-Sides, I got rid of it. I still enjoy Badmotorfinger and Superunkown's album cuts enough to keep those.)
U2 - The Unforgettable Fire (. Big mistake; I should've taken SOAD's edited first album instead. Pretty jackass of me since I got it six bucks new. Even though I honestly prefer quite a few of their other works over this.)
