One of many great songs from Ben Folds (Five). I can't believe it took me about 3 years to pick up this album. I'd really love to see him make the charts again, because in my opinion he's one of the greatest lyrical geniuses out there.

I love it.
However, I think that it being his most well-known solo hit is kind of misleading. The smart-ass stuff was much more a Ben Folds Five thing. The record was a lot more "Still Fightin' It" than this.
That being said, it hasn't gotten old with me after hearing it.

It's by far the smartass-iest song on Rockin' The Suburbs OR Songs For Silverman. I suppose it was his best shot at an alternative hit though.
