On the drive back to Bangor last weekend, I heard an uptempo version of this on a radio station somewhere around Hartford. This was the first time I'd heard this version of the song; the one that I'd heard on my local station many times and had had on my computer for over a year was much slower. Normally, I find faster versions of slow-paced songs inferior, but I may end up liking this one just as much. Has anyone else heard both versions? I assume the uptempo one was recorded after the slower one and not the other way around, right?

I can't answer any of your questions, nor do I recall any Postal Service singles at this point without listening to them. Interestingly (or not), I've had a burned copy of the album for almost a year now and because I just accumulate records too quickly, I haven't given it any comprehensive listens yet. (Y'know, like being able to make an album ranker for it.)

I've only heard one version of this, but I'd think it would be considered the faster version. As for Damien Rice's "Cannonball" (which has a faster and a slower version), I like them both about equally.

There are different versions? Makes me wonder which I have.
I love it though, such a great song.
