Love it! I didn't hear this until after "As I Lay Me Down" and was surprised that it was the same chic. Open House Party played this during their "re-enter the '90s" episode and people kept on requesting it for the next few weeks (along with LaTour's "People Are Still Having Sex.")

I believe this debuted the week I started tracking "Casey's Top 40." I liked it and still do, but at 10 years old at the time, I couldn't enjoy it normally, because I was afraid my parents would somehow hear it and scold me for listening to something with the word "damn" sung so prominently.

This song is awesome.
A couple years ago, someone told me that if you listen closely, you can hear the words "one-eyed taco" in the chorus of "As I Lay Me Down." I listened and sure enough, it did sound like that. Does anyone have any idea what they're really saying?

I really enjoyed this, and I agree that it was a pretty good song. It is quite a bit different from "As I Lay Me Down", the first song I heard from her.

This was a great song! I believe I still have the cassette single of it. I used to love "As I Lay Me Down" a lot too. I have fond memories of both tracks.

I listened and sure enough, it did sound like that. Does anyone have any idea what they're really saying? I think it's just nonsensical lyrics, something like "Ooh la ka ko". Amiright.com has many misheard lyrics for the song, including "Do you like tacos", "Oh I've got hope", "Pull my socks off", "When I got home", and so forth, but it's just nonsense words, which are put into many songs just for the heck of it.

Like "Mama say, mama sa, ma-ma cu-sa."
When I first heard that, I was like, "What the f*** is that about??"

This is a good song. I'm not ready to call it a classic, but I could see why some would.
