Yeah, I remember when Aerosmith's "Jaded" premiered - well before the mp3 era for me - I managed to catch it three or four times on Z100, PLJ, and Q104 all within the span of a half-hour. I even remember Cubby Bryant on Z100 talking with Steven Tyler about how he played "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" eight straight times when it premiered. But that's probably one of the few examples I have for ever listening to a song more than twice in an abbreviated span.

Heh, remember the same thing happening with "The Reason". 3 times on 2 stations in about an hour.

Tuesday, I caught "Umbrella" on the CHR/Rhythmic/Urban station (the remix with Chris Brown) then flipped it to the feel-good-music station a couple minutes later and caught the end of the original, then immediately caught the end of it again on the Pop station.

That had to be painful, but especially the remix.

That had to be painful, but especially the remix. Not at all. Have you looked at my personal chart lately?

Could it be more obvious the album came out?

Almost 2 months later and I've reached 12,000. I guess I average about 1000 a month. Some months a little more since I've just had this account since March 2007.

Yeah, alright, this whole social networking thing is creeping me out. Just for kicks I clicked on my last played song (Stop! by Against Me!) and clicked on one of the profiles of the top listeners. After that, I saw that our very own BlahBlahBlah was one of their friends.
Weird, I tell ya...

For some reason, now when I submit songs from my iPod, it submits each song twice. And when I went to delete the duplicate submissions, it deleted both submissions, so now it's as if I never played them to begin with. Ugh, that just happened to me, but for a different reason. I downloaded an updated version earlier this afternoon, and it opened the old version and the new version when I started listening to music just now, causing the songs to get logged twice. I didn't realize what was happening until about 10 songs had played.

Yeah, I found that the reason behind that for me seems to be when I sync my iPod, I occasionally get a pop up listing the tracks I've played and asking if I want to submit any or all of them. Well, the problem with that is that, when that happens, sometimes Audioscrobbler submits the songs and sometimes it doesn't, so whenever that window comes up, I have to visit my last.fm page to make sure they weren't already submitted. I don't know why it's so inconsistent that way.

I deleted my last.fm account because it was irritating me, but I'm considering coming back. Should I?
