My 2006 year-end chart was determined by the weekly charts from December 31, 2005 through December 30, 2006. At least #s 51-106 will be revealed in the form of a guessing game this year. I may do a countdown show for the top 50 depending on how much free time I find myself with in the next week or two.
All clues will initially be lyrical, but I will likely have to resort to other clues for at least a couple of 'em. Let the countdown begin!
106. "blame the caffeine" Hot Hot Heat- "Middle of Nowhere" (halo19)
105. "smell the pomegranates" Mat Kearney- "Nothing Left to Lose" (friday)
104. "some old fashioned way" Ra- "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" (picpak)
103. "we're under the covers" Sugarcult- "Do It Alone" (mtm4319)
102. "illuminated attic" Incubus- "Anna Molly" (picpak)
101. "they forgot the onions" Weird Al Yankovic- "Trapped In The Drive-Thru" (The Max)
100. "chaos in our lives" Switchfoot- "Stars" (picpak)
99. "a chance I know" 30 Seconds to Mars- "The Kill" (czarina)
98. "shut up and stay" Flyleaf- "I'm So Sick" (friday)
97. "come get a little" Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Snow (Hey Oh)" (picpak)
96. "life's gonna drop you down" Madonna- "Jump" (czarina)

105) Mat Kearney - Nothing Left to Lose 106. Hot Hot Heat - "Middle of Nowhere" Both are correct. Looks like a lot of these are gonna need extensions, but I'll wait until tomorrow night to do so.

Yep, Ra is correct. Sorry Matt, but picpak said "could be", not "isn't", so no points for you.

99 30 Seconds to Mars The Kill Hell nah! I don't even recognize one of the most lyrically familiar songs to me because I guess I was never 100% sure that he was saying "fighting for" and never gave it much thought.

The next batch of clues will be up sometime before I go to bed, regardless of whether or not #103 has been guessed by then.
