With less than three months to go before my personal chart year is complete, I've begun to think about how it will be presented to the Superior Music Board. It wouldn't really take up that much more time for me to put together a countdown with my voice introducing the actual songs than to think up 100 clues and wait for you guys to guess them. (It'd probably be more fun for me, too.) But I'm not sure if the time I'd invest would be worth it if only, say, 2 or 3 people listen. So I thought I'd get some opinions.

It's been a few years since anyone's done a recording for their year-end chart, so I'd definitely be willing to listen. If you decide to do a recording, I'd say go with at least 50 songs if time allows. I also think you should consider having "guest DJs" like you did 3 years ago.

Well, the guessing games are a lot of fun, but they're also dime a dozen. If you're up for making an audio countdown, of course I'll be listening and I will happily be a guest dj like "I" was a couple years ago. Do you still have the files of that countdown?
I wish I had the time to record another year end countdown. Problem is, it has to fall during the time of year where I have absolutely no spare time at all. Maybe I could make like a 7-year report with the 50 biggest hits of my chart's existence or something like that, which would be sometime in the middle of a year. The production would go a lot quicker now that I have better software and an unobsolete computer. I remember going out to buy a new hard drive out of frustration of not having enough space to store the audio files for the countdown (well, I would have needed one eventually, but it was the final straw).
I was probably going to run my year-end guessing game here and just link to it on Pulse for anyone else that would want to play along. Of course I have to get caught up first on the weekly charts before I get to the year-end one; I'm eleven weeks behind (2 weeks ago I was 20 weeks behind, so I'm getting there).

I haven't quite yet decided. I don't mind the idea of a guessing game because I am not going to do it, although largely that has to do with the inconsistencies of my chart this year. It gives me more time to join in others. Maybe I'd be more in for the audio one if I had a better connection.

I appreciate the effort for an audio countdown, and it's definitely fresher than guessing games (not sure if I'll be doing one yet or not, since I have two to three jobs), yet I can't imagine having the time to sit down to listen to the full thing.
Don't know if that's any help or not.

It's just as well; I don't think I'll have the time or inclination to do it, anyway. I probably should have expected that.
