www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT1XrPmJ0XQOne of my favorite hiphop songs to jam to. I enjoy the instrumentals. Especially the accompanying base during the spelling of independent: I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T...Do you know what that mean It is definitely an "earworm." Interesting message behind the song. It appears to be an uplifting song for single, hard working, independent women for the most part, despite the mention of some of their sexual cravings lol. It has done well at Urban and Rhythmic radio topping the charts. It is currently #9 on the Hot 100 and is presently a top 40 single at pop.

Yeah, I didn't get why this was doing so well at first. But I guess its message took it pretty far. The beat's not great, but it's a grower, I guess.

I was pretty amused at how they managed to spell such a long word repeatedly in the chorus of the song.
That being said, the sound of this song sounds so generic. This sounds just like Webbie and Lil Boosie's last hit "Wipe Me Down", which was extremely repetitive.

I was pretty amused at how they managed to spell such a long word repeatedly in the chorus of the song. I wonder how long they had to practice spelling it while the tape rolled, just so they could nail it every time. Y'know, 'cause they're all dumber than I am and my brain has to stay a split second ahead of my mouth just so I don't screw it up going at the quick, steady pace they do.
