I challenge anyone to correctly identity even 20% of these lyrics (which are in English) the first time through. I kinda like this.

I haven't heard this, but in trying to track down album information for it, can I conclude that it's 2007's better-late-than-never Eurodance entry?

I haven't heard this, but in trying to track down album information for it, can I conclude that it's 2007's better-late-than-never Eurodance entry? The song is listed as "Calabria 2008" on Mediabase, so just like that, it's 2008's hot-and-fresh (presumably) Eurodance entry. Still haven't heard it though.

"Calabria 2007" yields about 555,000 Google search results. "Calabria 2008" yields about 75,300 Google search results. So "Calabria 2007" it is.

That's English?? And much to my dismay, it is not a Euro-dance hit. Honestly, I have no idea why this caught on in America. It doesn't sound like anything we Yanks usually go for. And Seacrest said that Natasja (pretend the "j" is an "h") actually died in a car accident last summer.

Either way, you spelled "Calabria" wrong in the title of the thread. This is pretty Eurodance though, it's released by Ministry of Sound. I'm also surprised that this is hit, and that it's even charting on Rhythmic. Although I just read on Wikipedia that Pitbull's "The Anthem" samples it. That probably explains it.

This is pretty Eurodance though, it's released by Ministry of Sound. Well, it's not what I generalize as Eurodance, in that it doesn't have huge candy-synth hooks and developments out the ass with an overall ethereal aura.

True. Okay, I guess it's more House than Eurodance then.

And Seacrest said that Natasja (pretend the "j" is an "h") actually died in a car accident last summer. Since I never listen to AT40, because I don't have the time and simply didn't have a desire to after Casey left, I didn't hear about this tragic news until today. In fact, I was told that Natasja died last year from my little sister this morning. It was sad to hear of such a young talent with uniquely amazing vocals die an untimely death.
