His songs all sound so ridiculous and his lyrics all sound so forced (how many times does he refer to the ghettos, slums, and the hood in this song?), but I can't help that I like them! I like how in the music video, the words "Pina Colada" is censored, lol. C'mon, he could be drinking a Virgin Pina Colada!

I agree with everything you said, except the part about liking his songs (other than "Me Love", which will be up to #16 on my chart for this week. ).

I enjoy Sean Kingston's songs because he switch codes in them. The majority of his tracks are sung with an American singing voice but at times throughout the song he would revert to his Jamaican dialect. I find this amusing and charming. LOL! All of his songs have a "feel good" vibe. I love this! Sean Kingston hails from one of the most statistically dangerous cities in the world: Kingston, Jamaica. And there are plenty of ghettos, slums, and hoods to be talked about there. However, instead of focusing on the negative which may be the glorification of sex, drugs, and violence like many hiphop acts in urban environments experience, Sean Kingston sings with an optimistic view of life. I particularly find this commendable on Sean Kingston's part. In fact, "Take You There" has a very inspiring and refreshing message to young men in the urban community, to take responsibility for their women and show them a better way of life. My hats go off to him. In fact, if I ever was a pop musician - I'd probably want to project an image like Sean Kingston. Yeah mon Sean Kingston, what a Gwaan! LOL!

Not like this is saying much at all here, but this is her his best single so far from The Best Damn Thing whatever the name of his album is.

After seeing all his videos at this point, he's so baby-faced and huge and he perpetually looks very awkward. I can't believe his label has let him make all these videos without getting him more comfortable in front of the camera first.

Better than his first couple of hits, but not much better. Has a good beat, though--the only redeeming quality.
