Two thoughts upon seeing this sitting at #62 today, the first time I'd heard or seen anything about this song:
1. What kind of a combination is this. 2. I'm interested in hearing this. I never thought I'd say that about a Black Eyed Peas single after "My Humps", but considering that Jack Johnson's featured and Fergie is nowhere to be found on the song (judging by what I've just read in the topic at Pulse), it can't possibly be that bad. And I know they have the potential to create good material when they try ("Request Line").

How was it? I never heard the song and probably never will, now that it's finished. And was Jack really on this, because MediaBase isn't giving him any credit.

Yeah, last week I saw that R&R had removed Jack from the "artist" listing. What's up with that?? I don't believe I've ever seen them actually remove a featured artist later on.

Jack sings the chorus.

The chorus is actually sampled from Johnson's "Gone" off of "On And On". I don't think he redid it, at least I can't tell the difference.

That would explain why his name would be taken off the credit. I'd say I'd go listen to my copy of "Gone" off a 3-song promo from that record, but I never got to hear this version, so it's irrelevant. That's interesting, though.

To add to the confusion, I've read on Pulse that Johnson appears in the video, though I've never seen it myself.
