Anyone think Coldplay could make their 4th CHR/Pop appearance with this? It's no less pop-friendly than their other pop hits and it's shaping up to be pretty big on Alternative and Triple A, so I don't see why not. If this crossed over, it would be the first time they got two pop hits from one album.

Perhaps-I like this song. And I am a little confused as to why everyone is declaring their new cd a massive flop. Its pushed over 2.3 million already and will most likely get closer to 3 million. Isnt that just a little less than their biggest selling album and more than their debut?

I guess because their fan base is bigger than ever right now, people had extra high expectations for this album. This is definitely not a flop in my eyes though.

Considering that Talk is Coldplay's third top 10 song on alternative, with this being the first time Coldplay's ever had two top 10 alternative songs from the same album, I wouldn't call this a flop at all.
In fact, if Talk keeps it up, we might be seeing Coldplay's highest peaking song.
That to me doesn't seem like a flop at all, along with the album sales.

It's #131 on Pop, but I think it could hit the top 40 if it went for adds.

Same here-the song has grown on me. It sounds pop friendly almost, but I doubt it will be given a serious chance.

For a top 5 Alternative hit and a top 20 (and growing) Hot AC hit, there's no excuse for this to not even be in the top 100 here when it has the potential to do just as much as their other three pop charters.
