I HATE the title. But the song is catchy. And it is currently looking solid on Pop (possibility for a #1), just outside top 20 on RHY, and gaining a ton in sales. Just popped into the top 10 on billboard as well. Anyone else shocked at the success of their second single? They have a solid third single lined up as well.

Yeah. I think it's payola, personally. The record company forces them on the public, making them easier to swallow with a Busta Rhymes cameo, the public goes, "Alright, alright, but you can't do it again." I think the record company is forcing "Stickwitu" on the public, just so they don't look like fools.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the Eden's Crush girl is really the only girl who actually sings; everyone else just seems to do harmonies.
And I bought into "Don't Cha" too, except for some reason the radio version sounded like it had guys singing the harmonies in the verses as opposed to the video, something I found unsettlingly odd. Of course, now I recognize how truly manufactured they are, and I'm much more skeptical of them.
Oh yeah, and not only is this one of the worst song titles of the year, but the way it's delivered is equally grating. Really, just a complete schlep-fest from start to finish.

Yeah, there's absolutely nothing special about this song. It's a lot better than "Don't Cha", but at least I can see why that was a hit. This has to be payola.
