in terms of the most highly sheeped artists of the other board:
Madonna>>>>>>>Kelly>Mariah>Christina>Jlo.
Haven't heard this yet, but the above needed to be clarified.

Haha-I love Christina, and will probably be making topics for her here when she comes out. We will have to respectfully agree to disagree on her hehe. (Im not an attacking crazy fan though-just a sucker for her music)
I hope Madonna can be top 20 by the Sunday update. I suck at looking at spin trends though to see if thats likely or not.

I think it'll be at #19 for the Sunday update.
I got a 1-day ban from R and R for Christina bashing. lol.

I haven't heard the full song yet, but I may end up buying the album anyway.
I'm glad this is doing better than "American Life".

I heard this on Star 94 and I still haven't decided which way it's going. But it's not surprising it's doing better than everything from American Life because it seems like she's trying for inoffensiveness.

"Hung Up" doesn't rank among her best, but I'll take it any day over crap like "Die Another Day" or trying to hear her rap (a la "American Life"). This will probably do about what "American Pie" did, peaking around #15 with a fast fall.

Yeah, Hung Up isnt one of her best (not even close) but its catchy to me...and like you said, much better than American Life type stuff. Its bullet seems to be declining further, so I think my dreams of top 15 are becoming less likely.

"American Life" wouldn't be so bad if she didn't pull the video last minute. I dont' care if it's offensive or not, if you've made something you should put it out.
I do however like this song, it's simple but catchy.
I don't know if there are rules again this, so mods, feel free to remove it if there are.

I must admit, as a heterosexual male, that I love Madonna and always have, ever since I was aware of pop music back in '89.
I'm so happy to hear new music from her, whenever she comes out with some. I have no idea how this is doing or will do, because I pay no attention to the pop thread at Pulse anymore; they're like a pack of wild dogs in there and I like to be surprised by the charts and upcoming singles, y'know, when they're actually close to being released. Hell, I'm sorry I saw a thread for a new Madonna single already, just because it was the last updated Pop topic when I was on the main page of the boards.
While this doesn't just floor me, I love it and it's the best pop song out right now, if you count Kelly's "Hazel Eyes" as being too old.

Looks like it will peak around #18 (depending on if it keeps its bullet next week it may move up a few spots from there) Its really doing decently on Hot Ac-top 20 now with over a hundred bullet. Wonder how far it will go there... Its #2 on Itunes now... I wonder how much this album will sell...the hype/promo is not out of this world, but its getting more positive response than American Life did...but its still an album coming out after a flop album.

The gains seem to be stabalizing for now, so it might not be done just yet. It'll have to keep up the gains for another couple weeks in order to go top 15 though.

Damn-three versions of the album are top 10 on Itunes, two of them at #1 and #2! Im hoping this tops 300K first week, though I may be overshooting since Hung Up isnt a massive hit.

No more bullet. Prepare to fall as hard as a rock?

No more bullet. Prepare to fall as hard as a rock? Most likely. When's the last time a song that started out strong and quickly lost its bullet didn't experience a very fast fall? At least it's kept a relatively small loss for several days now though.

But that was a weird case.

Yeah it hasnt collapsed yet-in fact, the losses have been fairly small. I know its only a matter of time before it collapses though.
