Jeez, I've never seen a non-Christmas song benefit during the Christmas season as much as "I'm Feeling You" has. I wonder if it will take a huge tumble once January comes around.

Oh, well, I was expecting a recurrent chart sans Christmas tunes as well, but I guess this is sufficient for the moment. Thanks.

Oh, well, I was expecting a recurrent chart sans Christmas tunes as well, but I guess this is sufficient for the moment. Thanks. The point of the Sans Recurrent Rules chart is to show what the top 30 songs are IN TERMS OF SPINS ALONE on AC radio. That is, what are the 30 most played songs on AC stations on the R&R panel without imposing artificial rules about how long a song can chart, etc. So, to make a Sans Recurrent Rules Sans Christmas Songs chart would defeat the entire point of this chart. Remember - the Christmas songs presented on this chart do not garner spins from the all-Christmas AC stations. Those are removed from the R&R panel for the Christmas season.

What I meant was, this is fun to see, but I hadn't thought about it much, so I was surprised to see Christmas tunes (I shouldn't have been).
But I'm actually more curious as to what dinosaur songs AC radio is still playing that would show up after all the Christmas songs get knocked off again.

But I'm actually more curious as to what dinosaur songs AC radio is still playing that would show up after all the Christmas songs get knocked off again. Unfortunately, there won't be any way to know until the Christmas season is over. Only the top 20 AC golds are displayed on Mediabase and all 20 of them are Christmas songs right now, even with the all-Christmas stations removed from the panel.
