Shhh...Don't tell oscillations., but I actually like this song now. But like I was saying in that topic, I don't see myself liking them any more than I like bands like, say, the Shins or Kings of Leon.

"Oxford Comma" is better.

I like this too, and the video was fun to watch for a song that's 2 minutes long.
But yeah, if you even hint at the possibility of liking any of their music, you'll be bombarded with about 25 other songs that you have to listen to, when you know that none of those 25 songs are gonna sound distinguishable from one another, much less "brilliant". Or even if you say you hate it you'll get 25 songs that are "better".

"Oxford Comma" is better. That it is. I really like them, but Steve's right that the songs aren't exactly drastically different from one another and for that reason I think they'll be lucky to get more than one other top 50 hit from this album.

I think that, for me this year, Vampire Weekend may be making their way up to Shins county.

I can make time for one song, and I probably will give it a listen. I don't, however, have time for 25 of one song.

I was aware of that, but I just wanted to get my two cents in.

I love "Oxford Comma," but this one is just okay. Nothing special and just because you found them via a blog doesn't make them the world's greatest band.
To me, they're more to this year like what the Arctic Monkeys were to 2006 and what Franz Ferdinand were to 2004 or the Strokes to 2001.
