Where have I heard this before? It's had to have been in a commercial somewhere.

This needs to gain about 300 spins ASAP.

In theory, yes (well maybe not, now that "Falling Down" is ahead of it), but it's such a dinosaur and it doesn't even sound like a #1 hit. If anything should've been #1, it's "An Honest Mistake."

I can't believe this got so high. I haven't heard it on the radio, but it seems to me it's a song that sounds nice on the radio and nothing more.

It isn't nearly as good as "An Honest Mistake", but for me at least it's a solid silver medal as far as their big picture goes. It sounded very good at first and was still a slow grower, and I don't mind its turtle-stuck-in-molasses-in-January trajectory toward the top at all.

Of course "An Honest Mistake" (and "Time Won't Let Me Go") were more deserving of #1. But the top 2 are terrible right now.
Edit: Or were, I should say. Atreyu has suddenly bumped Seether down to #3 on this afternoon's update.

I wonder how long "Falling Down" will hold onto the top when it gets there? That's kind of scary that it could loom over their whole career as their biggest hit.

For what it's worth, "Believe" dethroned "Psycho" as the brand new #1 this morning on Out of Order with Jed the Fish. It's only been this year that I've realized how annoying that guy is for never using his normal speaking voice on the countdown. I have no idea if he does or not on KROQ.

He doesn't.
I never pondered the thought that there'd be a possibility of me hearing "Psycho" if I listened to Out Of Order.
