Im at my parents' new house (built for retirement-really nice, cabin in the woods, very isolated) I am helping cook tonight and tomorrow...write paper I have been so busy lately I had to put off a final paper until the holiday and now I have to create, research and write a brilliant 10 page paper before Monday. Yay! I didnt want to spend Thanksgiving on a computer, but I guess thats life.

I just arrived back home at Maine a few hours ago, where it's currently 21 degrees. It's supposed to be pretty cold the entire time I'm here, and then warm back into the 50s right after I leave. Oh yeah, and there's a nice dusting of snow on the ground right now. We have 13 relatives coming to visit, for a total of 17 people staying in our house. We'll probably have the big feast sometime late in the afternoon tomorrow. No homework for me this weekend, thankfully, though I do have a paper due next Thursday that I could always get started on if I'm not feeling too lazy.

Man, I feel sorry for the people who are way more busy than I am this Thanksgiving. I guess that it's the difference when you're not really in school.
I will be with my grandparents, two aunts and their kids, as well as an uncle via one of the aunts' marriage. Also, a few people from church that they are well acquainted with are also going to be there. Not sure if it's going to be at my house or not.
It's the part that's happening after Thanksgiving that's making me feel a bit spoiled.

Going to get my breaks on my car fixed later, then going to go eat at my grandparents in the country.
Then after that I'm going to go pull a 12 hour shift at work.

Today is exactly like any other day except that school, work, and Wendy's are all closed.

It'll be like a normal day, but then I get tired by the end of the day from the turkey. It is kind of typical, but then, the whole family (from my mom's side) is together for the day.

Oh, I'll be gorging myself on turkey, lasgana, pie, and the like while *sigh* my stepmother's family makes in all their (mostly) annoying form. In between, hopefully I can work on my English paper without being distracted by football.

Posting old personal charts, eating enough to last me a month, and looking for excuses to throw my money away tomorrow morning.

I didn't even realize, until studying the date discrepancy for a minute, that this topic was a year old. Makes a lot more sense now...
Anywho, I didn't get home from working last night's show until 12:30am, so I didn't get to go back home to the old digs (parents' house/my house until September) until this morning. I got there at noon. My bro had been there since last night. We had our feast at around 1. My bro had to leave a little after 4 because he has to be at Best Buy at 4:15am or so, for the 5am opening.
I had to leave after 7, so I can be at FYE tomorrow morning at 9.
Got to gradually get back in (and fade back out) my "home" radio stations I used to enjoy from a 3-town radius, some of which I still get in St. Louis. Got to see the 'rents again. Saw my brother again, though he's only 30 minutes away to begin with. And got to see my cats. Good times, if only for 7+ hours of being with family.

I spent it doing nothing because I had it on October.
