I wasn't expecting too much just by judging the book by the title; I thought it was just another faceless Can-con act that 89x jumped on, then to notice that Amazon.com lumped them into the same boat as New Found Glory and Hellogoodbye, but this is one of the most catchy singles of the year, and I'm unable to resist it. Now the song's catching on nationally and they're not even from Canada. Could end up as a pretty big pop hit with a little effort.

Dislike is a strong word, but I really, really, really don't care for this.

I first heard of these guys through "Hey There Delilah", whose video got Fuse play this summer. It's a ballad and a far cry from this song. I'm not a huge fan of either song, but I might actually prefer "Delilah" over "Hate".
