Seriously, what's the deal with these things--has anyone ever had them? They're typically two dollars for a tiny container that's smaller than a regular can of Coke, and from what I've read, it's just a straight shot of caffeine, which isn't exactly the best thing to be putting through your system all the time. I hate the use of sleep-altering drugs anyway because they just make it so that you unable to sleep. If you're tired, you're just SOL, because that sticks.
I've never had one, but these things are popping up everywhere, and they must be a pretty big hit, otherwise people wouldn't continue to hose themselves by paying $2.00 for each one.
I like the Jones energy drink...right on the can, it confesses: "Just what the world needs; another energy drink". If I ever do try one, it'll be that one.

I've yet to have one And I don't need to kill off sleep more than I already INTENTIONALLY have.

I've tried Red Bull once or twice. They didn't really have much of an effect on me.

I remember trying Red Bull once last summer, only because my friend bought two. I don't remember noticing anything, but when you're waiting tables on a busy summer day, you can be excused for not noticing if anything happened or not.
LOL about the Jones drink.

They're not worth it for me because I make my own "energy drinks" at work for free. A pump of vanilla, a dash of 1/2+1/2, and two shots of espresso straight from the machine.
I liked those Sobe and Snapple Elements new-age beverages that they used to have all over the place, which had like 0.01% trendy health additives and with all the sugar and whatnot they probably did more harm than good to your system anyway, but now they have taken on the status as trademark gas station drinks.

Haha, I had forgotten about that one. So, I take it back. I will sometimes have Sobe because I really like that one.

I love Jones, and its not surprising to me that they say that on their can.
The only energy drink I've really liked much is the Monster energy drink.

Well I'm still a Sobe fan in spite of this "trademark". The Sobe Tsunami is one of my favorite drinks in existance. I'm mad that a real tsunami from a year ago gave the tsunami drink a bad name.

Redbull tastes gross, but I've seen so many knockoffs that are still so expensive. It's just a weird trend that I think is already on the way out.
