It's been years since I've had food from there. I remember it being decent but not spectacular, so I went with "alright".

"Fire in the Taco Bell" -- Electric Six I really like this place. I can really care less for most of these kind of places, and while I think addictive is a real stretch for me, it definitely does satisfy me when I go there.

I love Taco Bell and so does my girlfriend. Her little sister even got a job there.

I almost never went to Taco Bell until this past year. It's alright; my girlfriend likes it a lot more than I do. I get the beef and potato burrito almost every time because it is awesome and only $1.29.
I prefer making my own tacos, or going to mexican restaurants that'll actually fill up their taco shells and wraps, though.

Yeah, I usually go to Taco Bell at least once a week since there's one right near where I live. "Addictive" is a little strong of a term to use, but I picked that since it fits me much better than "alright."
I used to just get three regular crunchy tacos since that was the most affordable for me, but now I usually get one of the following:
∙ Chicken Grilled Stuft Burrito (Easily my favorite order, though I might try the steak version one of these days.) ∙ Chicken Quesadilla (Good if it's late or I'm just not too hungry.) ∙ Two Nacho Cheese Chicken Chalupas (I've only recently discovered these, but these are much better than tacos.)
Not to mention that every time I go, I always get a Mountain Dew Baja Blast for drink, partly because it's exclusive to Taco Bell. And the messages on every sauce packet are brilliant.

It's all right. I don't like anything on my tacos other than the meat and sauce, but they do a pretty decent job of getting that order right. I also like the Cinnamon Twists.

I prefer my tacos with meat and cheese only (although I'm fine with lettuce and tomatoes), and my problem is if you order just that, there will be sooo much empty shell. That's why I like making my own.
I forgot about the Baja Blast, which I also get as the drink for every trip. Not that it's my favorite flavor of Mountain Dew (that'd probably be LiveWire, and I kind of wish I could find any place that offers that as a fountain drink), but you just can't get it anywhere else, so I might as well figure to take advantage.

That's why I like making my own. Well, I get the soft tacos. Three tacos really isn't much at that point, so I usually go ahead and add the cinnamon twists too.

I get the 3 tacos combo and add the beef & potato burrito, and it all comes out to an almost perfect $4.99.
The Taco Sunday promotion where crunchy tacos were for $0.39 on Sunday used to be cool. I'd order 6. Now I think they're up to $0.59, and it hasn't been worth my while to stop by on a Sunday ever since.

I am the one who picked "Its dog food". Aside from the obvious, which is that about 90% of fast food restaurants (including Subway) are dog food anyway, they are more expensive than many of the real Mexican restaurants here, which use better and more ingredients and in addition have fish tacos which is something T. Bell does not.

Well, has anyone ever been to Taco Del Mar? I ordered a chicken quesadilla there once, and that's what I'd call "dog food", or at least something approximating it.

Yeah, I went there all the time last summer because they had the best fish tacos IMO in Seattle. I haven't gotten anything else from them though. I've only seen one of them here, but all the other places totally blow it out of the water.

Taco Bell has both extremes. Their ground beef and their beans are both vomitingly horrible, but their chicken and steak are pretty good, and I love that "baja" sauce they put on the gorditas and chalupas. No one around here mistakes Taco bell for real Mexican food though...it's not even Tex-Mex..it's Yankee-mex. They just use words they think sound like Mexican food words even if they have no relation to the real Mexican dish. Go ahead and ask for a "gordita" in Mexico and watch them look at you like you're crazy.

This past semester I hadn't started college yet and so me and my best friend went there almost nightly. Around midnight or so, we'd go to my house and watch a movie and eat a ton of T-Bell. I miss it.

I'm hooked on the chicken quesadilla (with the L's not silent) now.
Next week T-bell debuts its breakfast menu in select markets, with Toledo being one of them. Some of the items look absolutely preposterous. I don't understand how anyone could eat tomatoes, jalapeƱos, and onions for breakfast but they just pile all that in there.

I've never eaten at Taco Bell and I probably never will, because a) there isn't one near me and b) I'm not big on tacos.

I'd eat their regular menu for breakfast. Me and my friend call it t-bell also...It also can be used in a sentence..."Wanna go ring the bell?"

I have to restrain myself because last time I ate fast food I got pretty sick for a week. I really, really want some taco bell though, I don't remember them ever making me sick.

I had the crunchwrap and stuft burrito off the breakfast menu and they both unfortunately made me ill.
I'm mad that they added a beef quesadilla to the $1.29 menu while the chicken quesadilla is now $2.49 because the chicken variation, and the steak one for that matter, are incontestably better. So in a way, the price difference is justified. But it's the same f-ing idea!

There's a Del Taco that looks like it's about to open up around the corner from my place. I'd never been there before and the only reason I'd even heard of it is because I was reading Curtis Granderson's blog (of the Detroit Tigers) when he said it was one of the places he likes on the west coast and that it could give Taco Bell a run for its money.
It's a 24-hour place too, with a breakfast menu as well (Taco Bell has since scrapped theirs; which was the next best thing to do with it other than making it not disgusting). I'm curious about all of it.

There's one on my way to work. I assume it's our only one. Apparently the boys and girl in Bleeding Through love them some Del Taco. I always mean to try it, but I don't buy fast food too often and I'm never in that area when I do buy it.

Taco Bell is nasty. There was a report on my local WABC affiliate news where they had to close down a Taco Bell because it failed an inspection. The thing that grossed me out was that they featured footage of rats eating on some garbage at the restaurant. After watching that story I wanted to vomit. Ewww really nasty and disgusting. I will never eat at a Taco Bell franchise ever! I don't eat beef or chicken period so it isn't an option for me to go there anyway. I eat in and cook my own food 90% of the time. Here is video from CBS: www.youtube.com/watch?v=40qihGbngJg

You can also get french fries at Del Taco.

This place will never replace Taco Bell because of its inability to eat cheap. I was a bit let down.

I was a bit let down. I myself had a couple of Del Tacos one week ago tonight and wasn't particularly impressed. Maybe if I go there myself and order something a little less typical....
