This turned out stronger than what I expected for it to be. I'm actually interested in more current songs than just that; if I extended, we'd also see "Judas" along with "TEOG."
That Kaiser Chiefs song was just released this week, but I do like the song enough to already be doing that. I might already like it more than "Modern Way." (That Lonely Island track was
If I ever ended up seeing TVOTR, more of their cuts might appear. However, the climate's way stronger now on the whole than when Dear Science was out. When "You" (alleged follow-up) gets released, it'll make an impact for me.
It's sort of interesting that Battles had former members of Helmet and Don Caballero, because the music doesn't seem as heavy as those, and especially now that the vocals sound normal this time around. Their entry is not a hot Sarah McLachlan remake.
