At 6 minutes and 27 seconds, "Triple Double" is the second-longest #1 that I can remember ("What Goes Around.../...Comes Around" was over 7 minutes). "Steady Shock" also moves into the top 10, while "Oh No" makes a surprise appearance at #48. The Girl Talk show was such that bits and pieces of several All Day songs were played, but with different backing tracks or vocal samples. (Save "Oh No", which was played pretty much intact for the first 90 seconds or so.)
"Closer" appears to have lost its bullet at #8, making it the worst-performing Anberlin single since 2007's "The Unwinding Cable Car" (which missed the top 20). "Give a Little More" still has quite a head of steam behind it. The #12 peak of "Wake Up Call" should easily be surpassed, and the song could contend with "This Love" and "Makes Me Wonder" (#4 and #6 peaks respectively) for their biggest hit. Mike Posner has a third straight quick riser, but the "single" for me is not the single released to radio nationally.
I sure look like an Adele bandwagon jumper, but I would still have said that "Rolling In The Deep" was a big improvement over "Chasing Pavements" even if the song had not become a big hit. Saving Abel continues to find ways to make my chart (it's their third top-50 hit), while Wiz should do fine with his second single.
