After 3 weeks, I have to be real with myself: I don't have the time to create an audio countdown for this chart, and I can't be arsed to explain to my roommate(s) exactly who I'm talking to if/when I'd be recording my voice-overs. So, it's a guessing game you are getting. You will eat it, and you will like it.

Please see the (modified) post above this one. It will be a mix of lyrical clues, fact-based clues, and perhaps some audio snippets. Person with the most points wins.
100. This song is sampled on another song currently on my personal chart. Usher f/Nicki Minaj - "Lil' Freak" (Mega248)
99. This song is sampled on another song currently on my personal chart (not the same one that samples the #100 song). Phoenix - "1901" (Mega248)
98. A lyric in this song and a Kanye West album title both use the same musical reference once. Ke$ha - "Your Love Is My Drug" (halo19)
97. This featured artist was born Benjamin McIldowie; a superstar has said of him, "I believe [he] has the potential to be bigger than me." Jay-Z f/Mr. Hudson - "Young Forever" (Mega248)
96. His middle two names are "Bin Abdul". DJ Khaled f/Ludacris, Rick Ross, T-Pain & Snoop Dogg - "All I Do is Win" (Mega248)
95. Lyric: "All those flames that burned before" Lady Gaga - "Alejandro" (radical347)
94. A quote from the artist about this song: "I'm a big fan of songs like Joe Cocker's 'You Are So Beautiful' and Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight' - songs that go straight to the point. You know, there's no mind-boggling lyrics or twists in the story - they just come directly from the heart." Bruno Mars - "Just the Way You Are" (WotUNeed)
93. This artist once had #1 and #2 album debuts in the same week. Nelly - "Just a Dream" (WotUNeed)
92. Lyric: "I call my mama when I got time" B.o.B f/Rivers Cuomo - "Magic" (a Nick O!)
91. This song peaked in my top 20 in October. Nationally, it didn't do as well as another song from this album -- that one made the top 20 of the Alternative chart but didn't make my chart at all. Meanwhile, a third track from said album briefly made the lower rungs of my chart late in the year as a non-single. Metric - "Eclipse (All Yours)" (Mega248)

Looks like I need to extend some clues:
100. This song is sampled on another song currently on my personal chart. Mega248's guess of "Over" was incorrect, but the correct answer is another song sampled on the same track that samples "Over".
92. Lyric: "I call my mama when I got time/I hit the stage, go insane"
91. This song peaked in my top 20 in October. Nationally, it didn't do as well as another song from this album -- that one made the top 20 of the Alternative chart but didn't make my chart at all. Meanwhile, a third track from said album briefly made the lower rungs of my chart late in the year as a non-single. The three songs referenced here are all by different artists.

90. Lyric: "You couldn't even come in my room, it smelled like a kilo" 89. The song that became this band's first CHR/Pop hit in 2009. Muse - "Uprising" (radical347)88. Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times wrote about this song: "Is she taking the one-day-at-a-time approach of a 12-step program for romantic addiction? Is it merely the application of an emotional band-aid? Or might she be asserting that the path to true independence always begins right here, right now? It's never entirely clear." Alicia Keys - "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" (Mega248)87. The lowest-ranking song on this year's chart that made my top 5 (even counting tracks that straddled years), doing so in a dizzying 8-week rise and fall. 86. Lyric: "I refuse to let you go, even when you're gone" Shinedown - "If You Only Knew" (Mega248)85. The oldest lead solo artist on the countdown. David Guetta f/Akon - "Sexy Bitch" (a Nick O!)84. Samples a 2009 Alternative hit; the title is a sort of synonym of the sampled track. Chiddy Bang - "Opposite of Adults" (WotUNeed)83. Lyric: "The more I run, the more I am convinced" Passion Pit - "The Reeling" (radical347)82. Album cover:
Neon Trees - "1983" (radical347)81. The second-oldest lead solo artist on the countdown.

88. Alicia Keys- "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" 86 I'll probably get after it's extended. Wow! Assuming Davey's correct, of course, how the hell did I have no clue what the cover of the Neon Trees album looked like for all this time? It's okay, I'm not sure I ever knew what it looked like either, and both singles were top 30 hits on my chart.

Extensions:
90. Lyric: "You couldn't even come in my room, it smelled like a kilo/Looked like me and two of my boys playing casino"
87. The lowest-ranking song on this year's chart that made my top 5 (even counting tracks that straddled years), doing so in a dizzying 8-week rise and fall. It entered my chart after seeing it on a movie trailer.
86. Lyric: "I refuse to let you go, even when you're gone/I don't regret any days I spent"
85. The oldest lead solo artist on the countdown. The first four songs on his album all made the Pop chart, one of them in remix form.
84. Samples a 2009 Alternative hit; the title is a sort of synonym of the sampled track. The group's name is inspired by a 1968 UK musical.
81. The second-oldest lead solo artist on the countdown. A song that appeared on my Top 400 of the 2000s starts with gunshots and the line, "f*** [name of artist]".

I thought I had #90 narrowed down to one artist and two songs, so rather than listen to both, I was so confident that I just Googled the lyrics and discovered I was dead wrong.
You weren't specific about what song you were looking for in #85, but if it's the remixed one you're looking for, it's David Guetta's "Gettin' Over."
