Nick's Notes: "Tighten Up" takes a huge leap because The Girl included it on the mix CD she gave me for Christmas.
Though things are looking back up as far as The Girl is concerned, "Darkest Blue" nevertheless shoots onto my chart, since it's turned into my favorite Betrayed song regardless.
"Undisclosed Desires" may be an Alt radio Top 5, but my station seems to have it in light rotation, so it's never been able to peak any higher than #23 this year, now that it's the single.
Kanye's songs have all peaked, as I've stopped listening to the album for this year.
"Perfect Defect" has been my favorite Nothing song since finally listening to the album on my iPod at work the past week or two.
Thanks for reading this year. Not sure if I'll continue posting my weekly charts in 2011.

I hope you know that I enjoy reading your chart each week as well, though my comments have been a bit sparse lately.

Nick, even if I have to read January's charts in April, I hope they continue as well. I like that Fitz & the Tantrums track a lot. Coincidentally, it was the last song I heard in 2010; 100.7 here gave it a surprising add. Been meaning to check on that Lostprophets record for a while now, knowing that that radio wouldn't help and neither would domestic record stores ( ! ). You wouldn't be the first one here who (probably) would think it would behoove me to hear The National's record. I do enjoy the Invented album as much as everyone else here. Matt, I heard "Black & Yellow" and "All I Do Is Win" at some neighborhood bar that I definitely won't be frequenting in the future. Those songs weren't the reason for that, though (they weren't bad at all). Wouldn't have even recognized them if not for their appearance on your chart. Also heard that new Enrique Iglesias track, which was part of the reason for that, and then I go see it debut on your next chart. . And to answer last week's question: I'm feelin' the audio countdown this time. They last forever and they're great for plane trips and drives across country where it's just me and the iPod.
