I don't know if there's any professional wrestling fans here. But I figured this was newsworthy and should be posted accordingly.

Eddie Guerrero passes away Nov. 13, 2005
WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead Sunday morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and daughters Shaul, 14, Sherilyn, 9, and Kaylie Marie, 3.
The cause of death is unknown at this time. An autopsy will be performed in Minneapolis on Monday, and Eddie's body will then be flown to Arizona. Funeral arrangements are set for Thursday.

I haven't followed wrestling that closely in the last couple years, but this saddened me. I think he was easily one of the more charismatic characters in wrestling. I was familiar with Eddie when he was in WCW, but of course, in WCW he was really at best a midcard wrestler (I think he might have won a U.S. Title once though), unlike WWE where he won the Smackdown World Championship. That being said, it's really a shame since he was at the pinnacle of his career. RIP.
