Nick's Notes:
1-10:
"My Best Theory" could very well be on its way to #1 in the next several weeks.
11-20:
That'd be a shame if "Take a Load Off" peaked last week at #11. Heard "I Never Told You" in the car earlier this week, so it rebounds. "Heart of a Lion" and "Pursuit of Happiness" are often the only two songs I'll play in the car, lately, since my one-way trips rarely last more than 10 minutes or so.
21-40:
Having listened to Plastic Beach again after I made this chart, I'm thinking I just might like "Rhinestone Eyes" more than "Stylo." The electro version of "Cooler Than Me" that I guess is the popular version is the one I hear regularly on my pop station, so since it's not the AT40 version, I still enoy hearing it. "Closer to the Edge" just hit my local radio station this past week. That should be a Top 5 smash quickly. "Un-Thinkable" might rebound again.
Contenders (41-50):
"Sextape" appears thanks to the gorgeous video being rolled out. Sad to see "Tonight the World Dies" and "Fiction" drop off this week, when they very likely might be back, but I can't fudge the numbers just to save them. "Deuces" is Top 40-bound. The unfortunately named "Pledge Allegiance to the Swag" is an epic, nearly 8-minute song that hit the internet last week. It's a monster, more so than "B.M.F.," even. Too bad it's not a single.
51-60:
"Undisclosed Desires" shows up again, even though it's all coming from All Access streams. "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" is a calculated B.S. marketing move, capitalizing on the success of "OMG," but dammit if it's not catchy as hell. Thanks for reading.
