Well, this is by no means good news, but CHR playlists are pretty much consolidated already, and I'd basically given up all hope in corporate radio taking any action to appease me. This is the type of news that would have had me fuming 5 years ago, but today, it really doesn't affect me all that much.

This has really messed up a lot of the spin trends: - "Second Chance" was over +600 last week and looked destined to make the top 10; it's lost spins since Sunday.
- "Just Dance" looked like it would definitely give up the #20 spot to Matt Nathanson; now that it's getting so many new spins courtesy of these syndicated playlists, the spin loss is down to almost nothing and it'll easily stay at #20 this week.
- "Mad" now has a +118 bullet
- The new Pink song has dropped from +341 Sunday to -7 today
- The new AAR song has dropped from +388 Sunday to +143 today
- Overall, this has caused many of the ancient songs to fall even slower. For example, "Sober" is only -72 and "Just Dance" is -85.
I doubt these consolidated playlists are 100% of the reason behind these abrupt spin changes, but they're definitely playing a large role.

It's not as if these stations had much distinguishing variety between each other to begin with, anyway.
