Happy New Year, guys.
Around midnight, I was popping beaucoup bottles of champagne.
...And uh, much later, I actually got to have some of it, though not as much as I would have liked.

I was forced to spend the night at my mom's aunt's apartment because we took the bus there, and apparently there was no one able to give us a lift home. Not exactly what I'd call an auspicious way to bring in the new year, but it could've been worse, since I could've slept on her sofabed, which my mom said was most uncomfortable. This might be my first new year's weekend in many years where I don't listen to any radio year-end countdowns.

^Haha, new years day was when I listened to my pop radio station's countdown. What's even more though is I rarely listen to it so it made some entries seem more refreshing.
Happy new year, everyone.
Late in the night of New Years Ever was sort of humorous. My sisters and I stayed up watching the Dick Clark television program of New Years Eve to not know that it wouldn't show anything during our time zone with the new year. Then we later saw some fireworks on a local television when we flipped and realized we had it on the wrong place.
The day was alright. The night of new years was right before my sister & her husband were on their way back to Houston, along with my niece, their kid.

Happy new year.
I was supposed to meet up with some friends I haven't seen in a while for dinner on New Years Eve and then head downtown Toronto to a club for countdown and so on. Well the dinner ended up dragging on for longer than expected and it was 11pm by the time it was done. So I instead, went to my friend's house party and gotten wasted there. It was alright. I witnessed the most boring game of Beer Pong ever where everyone kept missing, until finally at the end one of my friends got really drunk and started shouting throughout the game (he's normally not like that), and concluded with puking. It was entertaining just to watch. So that saved the day.
The day, I just hung out with family mostly and went out with friends to celebrate my birthday early with some all-you-can-eat sushi because...
Today I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. Yay.

Today I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. Yay. Oof. That blows. But your mouth will thank you in the long run. I wonder how much longer it'll be before I'll have to get my 3 yanked.

Yeah, it would suck for the time.
Got my two at the top taken out at what will eventually be 3 years ago. Was knocked out most of the time so it wasn't overly terrible.
IIRC it can take about a week to get back at normal.

A friend asked if I wanted to go to this show called Sea of Dreams which featured the Thievery Corporation and I was kind of in the mood to see one of those big douche-y NYE shows but then I read reviews of the event from last year (and now there's some from this year) and it didn't look like it was worth $79. So I ended up going to a friend's house party where we listened to 80s music and drank champagne and watched Dick Clark on TV. Much better. Today I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. Yay. Argh, that sucks!! Was it all four? I got the last two out last two out about a year ago (and Sunny dropped me off @ the dentist! Thanks Sunny! but that time went amazingly well, I was better in two days. Not like when I got the first two out, when I was in severe pain for over two weeks...

I figured I might as well do it now and get it over with since my mom's health insurance only covers my expenses as long as I'm a student and I finish school in April. And with the economy going down the s***ters, who knows when I can get a full-time job that has better medical coverage! I feel alright now, but I was told that day #3 is supposedly the worse, so I guess we'll see tomorrow. On the positive side is that I can make my parents and my brother move everything for me tomorrow when I need to make the move back on campus to Waterloo.
