The song is quite catchy! It is pretty cool. I like the violin and electric guitar intro. These Australian twin sisters seem to have a slight gothic edge going on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykW4rtW2eu0

They've been around for a minute, but this is the first time their music has really been shoved in front of me. I think they were the second opening act for Hanson back in September, too, but I remember them being around 2-3 years earlier as well. It seemed like some Pulse folks were all atwitter back then...
I've only heard it one-plus times just now, but not bad. Not bad at all.
(The intro kinda reminds me of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer.")

Yeah, they've been around for a while. This song was originally released a year ago.

This comparison sorta falls apart in the chorus, but the first minute wouldn't feel out of place on a Shiny Toy Guns album. Just listened to it last night while going through the Pop forum topics, and I wish I'd heard it sooner.

Yeah, an interesting pop song was being played on a myspace page I was viewing. Turned out to be "Untouched". It's pretty hot.

The verse lyrics aren't so bad if you strip out all the word repetition, and it's not like there oughta be more actual words in there, and I understand that filling the verses up with syllables makes them more rhythmically interesting than if all that nonsense was stripped away, but good lord, are those throwaway syllables and stutters distracting. A little detrimentally so, otherwise this song would've fully caught hold with me by now. (After hearing it on AT40 again, it'll probably reappear on my contender list and make a run for the actual chart now.)
Otherwise, I love this song's pep and musically it's a great pop song. Those thundering, echoey synths are excellent and this tune wouldn't be half as memorable without them.

Here's the video: vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=43938417Somewhat disappointing. The video falls flat plot-wise; there's a bad audio edit near the end; and it killed the visual I was imagining that the Veronicas were actually the ones playing the guitars. Still though, I've been playing this all week. That's a minor thing for me (not as minor as what I described above), but I see your point. It's not like the second half of each verse has that problem: 1st verse: I go ooh ooh, you go ahh ahh Lalalala alalala I can't lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie I wanna wanna wanna get get get what I want Don't stop Give me give me give me what you got got Cause I can't wait wait wait any more more more more
Don't even talk about the consequence Cause right now you're the only thing that's making any sense to me And I don't give a damn what they say, what they think think Cause you're the only one who's on my mind I'll never ever let you leave me I'll try to stop time forever, never wanna hear you say goodbye (bye bye bye)I feel so untouched And I want you so much That I just can't resist you It's not enough to say that I miss you I feel so untouched right now Need you so much somehow I can't forget you I've gone crazy from the moment I met you
Untouched And I need you so much 2nd verse: See you, breathe you, I want to be you Alalalala alalalala You can take take take take take time time To live live the way you gotta gotta live your life Give me give me give me all of you you Don't be scared I'll see you through the loneliness of one more more more[/color] Don't even think about what's right or wrong or wrong or right 'Cause in the end it's only you and me and no one else is gonna be around To answer all the questions left behind And you and I are meant to be so even if the world falls down today You've still got me to hold you up up And I will never let you down (down)
