The first single from her next album that's set to be released in December. Very catchy lyrics and beat. Those who enjoyed the singles off Blackout should like this one too.

She sounds kind of like Shiny Toy Guns's new singer on "Ricochet!". I like her last album's singles a little more than this, but I can shamelessly say I'm not far from being a fan of hers. At least enough so to be pleased that this song is hotter than Christina Aguilera's when both were released at roughly the same time. .

She sounds kind of like Shiny Toy Guns's new singer on "Ricochet!". That was exactly what I thought too. And yes, this does blow Christina out of the water.

Oh for crying out loud, this is the exact same swung 4/4, electro-pop as "I Kissed a Girl," "So What," "Ricochet!," "I Don't Care," "Keeps Gettin' Better," even "Reach Out." And Britney already did this last time out with the album cut "Radar" (which suspiciously gets shuffled into my WMP a lot and more than any Blackout track). THIS RHYTHM IS OVEREXPOSED, PEOPLE! UNDERSTAND THAT!

If you combine both threads (threads are locked after 100 or so pages so they won't collapse), this is up to 187 pages at Pulse.

This is the first time since approximately 1986 that both Britney and Christina have had good (well, decent) songs on the radio. But yeah, Britney's is better.

Love this song and yes Britney's is better. For now, I would put this above "Gimme More" and below the other two Blackout singles. Video is hot too, looks like she got her act back together! www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBU55JLbmOk

I frankly am astounded at what a popular song this is. I'll pick Christina's song tenfold, which is actually listenable. I don't really dislike Britney much on the whole but this song is so obnoxious and redundant I can't believe it's warranted such a discussion. My least favorite Britney single to date.

I don't like how she has to intentionally stutter to fill holes in the lyrics. Miley Cyrous should sue.
Or how there's absolutely nothing to the prechorus.

I'll cut Brit some slack for cleaning up her act. The track is quite melodious. I enjoy it a lot. The Outsyders hooked a chick up.

Hmm...I could swear either here, in our "Ricochet!" topic, or in the "Richochet!" topic at Pulse, someone said they actually mistook one for the other when hearing it start up on the radio. Well, that actually happened to me just now. On AT40 just now, Ryan was talking about something unrelated when the music bed he was talking over started up. It was familiar to me and I thought, "I know this. Oh! This is 'Ricochet!' That's badass that they supplied that for him to talk over. And he didn't set up Britney at all, it was the pre-recorded "#9" announcement. The song continues and I think, "Wait, why the hell are they mistakenly playing 'Ricochet!' at #9?! What's supposed to be here?" Britney had started singing even, and I still didn't realize it was her until my brain processed the lyrics. I was like, "Oh, f**k me, this is 'Womanizer'!" At this point in both songs' lifespans, I didn't think I was ever going to make that mistake. (I'm a little embarrassed, but not so much that I feel that emoticon was necessary here. )
