This one took some listens to honestly grow for me (although I still don't think it compares with anything from WAP.). I finally get why the old school DEP fans couldn't get into the later stuff, not getting into the Puciato style. Different bands I know. At first I didn't know if it was a nice new direction or just some total garbage, the group attempting to make a heavier, intense song.
Although the echoing "notice" MUST go.

I didn't like it at all at first and even though I still think it's inferior to all of We Are Pilots, it's grown on me enough that I've charted it. And yeah, the echoing "NOTICE!" is obnoxious. So what you said, I guess.

Still haven't heard this on the radio and haven't listened to the song enough to be irritated by this echo you speak of. I guess I'll listen more closely next time, if there is one.
They've peaked a bit higher with each single release and all have ended up somewhere in the twenties, which will continue if this song doesn't pick it up some more.

This one caught me by surprise the first time hearing it, but not necessarily in a bad way. It'll take a bit getting used to, but the song is a solid B to start.

I went to their show Sunday night in Detroit on impulse. What the hell kind of concert has the main act take the stage at 11pm on a Sunday night (innerpartysystem did the exact same thing here a few weeks ago). Very cool setting at a small 2nd floor concert hall above a bowling alley, with a stage decorated with bloody mannequins and upside down hanging umbrellas. I was 3 rows from the stage without having to put up a fight. New songs sounded impressive. Sisely struggled to keep a tune, but I can let it slide since she's new, she only does about a third of the vocals anyway, and she makes for a cute 'cheerleader'.
And I love this song now.

I listened to their album once on Myspace so far. Some of it I'll have to "get." But the one I liked most was actually one where Sisely was singing lead.
