My mom has a Barbadian friend who is close friends with the people who discovered Shontelle. Btw...Shontelle is a new artist from Barbados like Rihanna. Anyway, I think the track is a really nice pop/R&B tune. I really like it. It sounds like background music to perhaps an apparel advertisement from Target. Maybe not so much....hey it's just a thought. www.youtube.com/watch?v=33mK2T5AH2g

I deplore this song. It's so cheesy I can't bare to hear it.

I think her album Shontelligence is going to flop badly. (Which came out yesterday.) She told Z100's Shelley Wade that she is excited about the release of her album because the stores will be full because they will be buying Beyonce's album and might pick up hers too. Hmmm...wishful thinking on her part.
I heard that she has great material but she fails (or at least her label) to do any promotion on television shows. I didn't see any recent interviews promoting her material. Now that TRL has died, her career might do just that. I don't want to speak to soon, but I wish her the best. The good news, is that she might be approaching a peak of #16 on the pop chart. I really love "T-Shirt!"

Yeah, if I had to predict, I wouldn't predict much in the way of album sales for her, either.
I'm honestly surprised "T-Shirt" isn't on its way down the pop chart already. It seemed like it had no bullet or negative spins just a couple weeks ago. I might be wrong...
