I've seen numerous subway ads here in NYC advertising the new Coldplay song. Ah, I get it now, segments of storybook time to be programmed during mainstream airplay. Interesting concept, that ought to sustain the Miley Cyrus listeners for sure. On a side note, I am wondering if the group are practicing Catholics. Harmless single though, not bad. An imaginative video has been created, not yet released in the US, I believe. Hopefully they'll include Disney viewers in the marketing ploy when a DVD version is made. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG7nxbC2GAo&feature=related

This should easily become their biggest pop hit to date:
"Yellow"- #20 "Clocks"- #21 "Speed of Sound"- #24 "Talk"- #49
"Talk" deserved a hell of a lot more, but I guess I should be happy that it crawled into the top 50 at all without an adds date.

It should be their first top 10 hit, but I know better than to expect that. Its bullet seems to be starting to dwindle, so unless it receives a second wind, it looks like #16 or so might be the best anyone can hope for, which is nice, nonetheless.

Hard to believe that as big as Coldplay has become, they've never really been close to having a smash hit on any widespread radio format.
Or maybe that's not so hard to believe.
