This song has grown on me in the past couple of days. I really love it. I know she probably hates getting compared to Amy Winehouse. Nevertheless, the voice is just captivating IMO. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE2orthS3TQ

I really like this too. Hopefully this does well and "Stepping Stone" gets released next, which I think is better.

30,000 times better than Rehab.
Although how is Duffy avoiding the "Stand By Me" beat comparison?

Nah, "Rehab" is better. Hmm, the beat doesn't really sound that much like that of "Stand By Me".

This is the "What The Hell Is This." song of 2008 and possibly the whole decade.
I'd been hearing this for a long time, on Triple A Rock before its recent popularity, and I still don't know what to think of it. I had always thought this was some older Canadian low-budget cheap vintage oldies knockoff until I finally learned what this song was via the SMB song tournament. I was passing by the Ellen DeGenerious show with a performance of this song and it sounded absolutely pitiful. It does have a certain uniqueness to it that keeps you coming back for more, though.
I tried watching the video and couldn't make it through the whole way because the song doesn't really do anything other than what it does in the first 45 seconds of it and the video is otherwise pretty uneventful.
