Looks like this board's finally been upgraded. Let's hope the place doesn't see as many problems as Pulse did when it was upgraded back in december.
One of the new features is automatic color gradients, which you'll notice on most pages. However, I'm pretty sure I can shut those off if you guys liked it better the way it was before. Anyone have a strong preference? Also, there's now a box on the main page that lists the users that signed on in the last 24 hours, but if you find it annoying you can hide it by clicking on the red X in the top right corner of the box.

The smoked color gradients look cool, but it's pretty hard to read the "page x of x jump to" stuff.

All the threads I read are being marked as new, just like at Pulse. It's annoying.

At least the "active users in the last 24 hours" feature won't be as annoying here as on Pulse. I had to turn it off on there because it was so massive.

I had to turn it off on there because it was so massive. That's what she said. Zzzzzing! (I used to think that phrase was such a huge cliche and not really that funny to begin with, quite frankly, but then my assistant manager at the old record store says it all the time, due to some character on The Office, which I've never seen. But he's such a deadpan guy, and I like him so much, that it's funnier now than it was originally. Probably because it's such a predictable thing to say that saying it anyway and ignoring its lameness becomes funny.)
