Disappionting cover art and title, but "Machine Gun" is total madness that makes me think it'll be something worthwhile. I haven't listened to the self-titled album in awhile so I may try coming back to that one. I remember Dummy pretty well and couldn't believe I didn't include it on earlier editions of my favorite albums.
I don't like it as much as the first two albums, but still enjoy it just fine in general. It's a fairly fresh listen and I respect that they aren't a group just rehashing the older material. Other than the single I also really enjoy the lo-fi field recording like backing vocals on "Deep Water" quite a bit. For awhile it feels like "Hunter" goes on lackadaisically for no purpose but it's listenable enough. Will perhaps be one of my top ten albums of the year if stuff continues in the current trend.
