No, I don't think this qualifies as nostalgia yet, but I had no other place to put this. This was an AT40 Instant Email Request today and Seacrest introduced it as "Ciara...featuring T.I." Petey Pablo, you incompetent numb-nuts! WTF

And as others pointed out in the AT40 thread on Pulse, they basically threw out the first 34 years of the show's history when Ryan proclaimed "4 Minutes" to be the highest debut in AT40's history. Never mind that it's not even Madonna's highest debut in AT40 history. ("Erotica" debuted at #2 in 1992)
I will say, though, that I'm glad KBKS finally picked up the show earlier this year. It's kind of embarrassing when the most prominent CHR countdown show in your market is the TRL Top 20. They even put it in the 6-10 Saturday morning timeslot that Z100 had it at when I first got into the show.

Either way, I'm sure it's the highest debut since Ryan began hosting anyway...

I'm sure either "I'll Remember" and/or "You'll See" had to have beaten the crap out of its #26 Mediabase debut position, and I think "American Pie" was right around #26 coming in. ("Erotica" only peaked at #3 on the legitimate chart that didn't factor single sales, but I don't know its actual debut.)

"4 Minutes" debuted at #12 this week on AT40.
I'm reasonably positive "Erotica"'s entire 8-week chart run on CT40 went something like this: 35-16-8-4-3-3-19-30.

I am as nostalgic for this as my father's belt-spankings.
