Is there any way to get rid of this thing on firefox? It's very annoying, it always pops up when I save something and my hard drive makes this annoying sound like it's straining to save the item and so my internet freezes up for like 30 seconds while it saves the pic or whatever.

There's a setting to disable it from popping up, but I don't remember where.

Sheriff driving on expired license
License expired 14 months ago and he flunked the driving test the first time he tried to get it renewed
Published: Friday, June 29, 2007 - 2:55 am Updated: Friday, June 29, 2007 - 8:42 am The Associated Press
ANDERSON - Anderson County Sheriff David Crenshaw has been driving for 14 months on an expired driver’s license. And he said he flunked the driving test the first time he tried to get his license back.
Crenshaw calls it a mistake — he thought he had a 10-year license instead of a five-year license. “Apparently, they quit sending out renewal notices. I just wasn’t aware that it had expired,” he said.
It had been so long since Crenshaw had a valid license that he had to take the driving test to get it back. He flunked on his first try.
“I did my three-point turn backwards,” the sheriff said. “But I did OK when I took the test again.” Crenshaw said he was never pulled over while his license was expired and never had a reason to check it. “I’m human, just like everyone else,” he said. “It happens to lots of people.”

I DON'T recommend that tire sealer that you put in and seals and fixes flat tires all you have to do is pump some air in it. Who the f*** throws out a twisted sharp metal object on the street? Well, it probably wasn't even on the street because I didn't hear my tire imploding until I was at the gas station.
The stuff was supposed to seal and "protect" the tire for much longer than a few hours later where the tire would be completely flat in my driveway.

Hooray! For a while now I've wanted to go through a police sobriety/seatbelt/license check point. I know it doesn't sound smart or like fun, but I've wanted to try to get them to use the breathalyzer on me when I have absolutely no BAC. I've had my share of breathalyzers in high school, lol. I had my seatbelt on and my license with me, unfortunately I didn't cause suspicion. I did remind me of one previous time when I was arrested and the officer tried to hard to convince me I was intoxicated because there was an open (but completely empty and dry) bottle in the truck. I begged for him to breathalyze me, but he wouldn't, he obviously knew. The other cop was trying super hard to find some weed or something in there, but that wasn't gonna happen...I don't do that stuff.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
The world is finally seeing what we’ve known all along!!!
Pop/punk poseur Avril Lavigne is being sued for allegedly copying her “hit” song Girlfriend.
Canadian punk princess Avril Lavigne is being sued by U.S. songwriters who claim that her smash hit `Girlfriend’ sounds suspiciously like a track they took up the charts in the 1970s.
Lavigne’s manager, Terry McBride, says the pop starlet is one of several people named in a lawsuit filed July 2 that alleges striking similarities to the Rubinoos song `I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.’
The group’s founder, Tommy Dunbar, filed the suit in California’s Northern Federal District Court and also names Lavigne’s publishing company Avril Lavigne Publishing and Lavigne’s songwriting partner Dr. Luke as defendants.
McBride says from Vancouver that the claim is baseless, noting that a musicologist he hired to study both tracks has deemed them completely different songs.
Still, McBride, also CEO of Nettwerk Music Group, admitted that he is considering settling the suit out of court if the costs of defending the case prove too high.
The suit comes on the heels of a jab at Lavigne by fellow Canuck songstress Chantal Kreviazuk, who recently suggested to Performing Songwriter magazine that Lavigne stole one of her songs for the disc `The Best Damn Thing.’

Shame it couldn't have happened before the song managed to clog the airwaves though.
