One of my favorites on her cd! It goes for adds today.
The version on allaccess is slightly more rock than the album, it's really, really weird. Why would they even mess with it at all? It was a perfect radio single as it was.
Not exactly the best start for someone with previous HAC success.

Well, the record's kind of finished, sadly. And this got released a few months too late, as well.
Or better yet, they could have promoted "Like a Star" more around the time of the Grammys when she performed it and even "Trouble Sleeping" which was listed on the sticker when I bought it for $8.

I think the real killer is the messed up Allaccess version. The rhythm is miles different and really just sounds weird and gives the song a bad feel. It drowns out her vocals at some points. This song should be huge. I won't say "should have" yet.

This is mind blowing that the song is getting completely ignored.

Looks like they're finally coming to their senses.

I suppose we can officially rule the song a flop now. That's a real shame, it's one of the best on HAC.

No, it neared the chart, I think around #53.

I'd like to point out that when Radio & Records used Mediabase, the Hot AC chart was 40.

Well, that was then, now - when this song was released - they use the top 50, so it did near the chart.
