Is there a way to make this a logged-in only post?

No, but I can make a logged-in-only sub board for situations like this.

All used from yesterday: Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill Deftones - Adrenaline Fugazi - In on the Kill Taker Lit Vitamin C
Today... 2Pac - Me Against the World Pink Floyd - The Wall (9 bucks, too!)
And I now have these back in my CD collection again: Radiohead - OK Computer (The only one not used of these, but at $9.88 at Circuit City, I couldn't ignore it.) Garbage Limp Bizkit - Significant Other (for $2.) Stone Temple Pilots - Core
I also now properly own Stankonia, five years after initially hearing that one through a sister of mine.

Björk - Volta Today... Pink Floyd - The Wall (9 bucks, too!)Limp Bizkit - Significant Other (for $2.)I so wanted to buy Volta this past week, but nobody had it for less than $13.99, which was the only sale price I saw, even (and at my own store, too!). $11.99 is as high as I'm willing to spend on a new Bjork album considering my current budget. That's a steal you found on The Wall. I can't remember if I got it on some kind of sale or if I paid full Circuit City price for it back when I got it, lo those many years ago. And that's the kind of deal I'd like to find on Chocolate Starfish. I refuse to pay over $4 to have a real copy of that. I've only added two since my last post, but I'm so excited about the second one that I couldn't wait for when my collection had built up several units more. First off, I saw an explicit promo copy of The Pack's EP for the first time in my store the other day, so I went ahead and helped myself to that. And then last night I made a mix CD of hip hop songs for my big day today. (Technically yesterday, but I haven't been to bed yet. I didn't even plan to turn on the computer, but I had to take a quick look at my MySpace photo, so here I am, a couple hours later....) Today was the day I "presented" my local Alternative station's festival, which I recall posting about back when I won the contest. Since I was to present bands, I hoped I could have theme music each time I walked on stage to present one, the idea being a "badass" hip hop anthem. When I asked a while back, the coordinator was pessimistic about those chances, so I easily narrowed it down to my most desired song: Jim Jones' "We Fly High," of course. I was given the definitive "no dice" real late the night before, when I got home at midnight-ish after working at both jobs all day. So I thought, "Okay, well I'm just gonna make a mix CD of those kinds of songs to play in the limousine ride with my VIP friends to and from the venue. So I stayed up way too late last night crafting it and this is the mix CD I came up with (key info omitted to prevent chance Googlers from stumbling upon my message board writings): "Nick xxxxxx presents xxxxxfest Would-be Theme Music" or "Music for the Badass": 01. Jim Jones "We Fly High" 02. Mims "This Is Why I'm Hot" (edited ) 03. 50 Cent f/ Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks & Young Buck "P.I.M.P. (Remix)" 04. T.I. "What You Know" 05. The Notorious B.I.G. "Big Poppa" 06. Dr. Dre f/ Snoop Dogg (Kurupt & Nate Dogg) "The Next Episode" 07. Rich Boy "Throw Some D's" 08. Yung Joc f/ Nitti "It's Goin' Down" 09. Three 6 Mafia f/ Young Buck and Eightball & MJG "Stay Fly" (I requested both versions from Sunny so I could make my own "in-between" version, where the dirty verses are left in tact, but the chorus is made "fly" instead of "high." Obviously I didn't have the chance to get around to that before I needed to throw the song on here.)10. Rick Ross f/ Jay-Z & Young Jeezy "Hustlin' (Remix)" (I would've preferred to use the original, but I take what I can get and am damn thankful for it.)11. The Notorious B.I.G. "Hypnotize" 12. The Game f/ 50 Cent "How We Do" 13. YoungBloodZ f/ Lil Jon "Damn!" 14. T.I. "U Don't Know Me" 15. Snoop Doggy Dogg "Gin and Juice" 16. G-Unit "Stunt 101" 17. Bone Crusher f/ Killer Mike & T.I. "Never Scared" 18. 2Pac f/Snoop Doggy Dogg "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" 19. Terror Squad f/ Fat Joe & Remy Ma "Lean Back" And that filled up the CD, otherwise I would've had Lil Scrappy's "No Problem" on there, and Fat Joe's "Make It Rain," if I had had it in time.

Heh, a friend of mine did that before, succeeding at this. I found it in his car when he picked me up for school one day (in my senior year of high), and the even better thing is it was stolen from a Half Price Books store.

I've added a plethora of new albums (a lot from you guys, no less) since I last updated, so here's where I left off: And by the way, that Pack EP blows, so I just took it right back to the store and forgot I ever "owned" it. I wash my hands of those ass-clowns. Since their debut song was about Vans, I figured they'd have more substance to them, a la Lupe Fiasco. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was like Pretty Ricky crossed with someone I can't recall anymore, but I had a comparison. Anyway... Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight Fiona Apple - When the Pawn (I think I paid $1 or 2 for this at buyback price. It replaces my burned copy.)Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream (Finally. I think I paid $3.50-4.50 for this a little later that day.)I sold some CDs finally and so I had built up enough store credit to get the used copies we had of these that had been sitting in my reserve pile forever: OutKast - Idlewild (finally.)Angels & Airwaves - We Don't Need to Whisper Suicidal Tendencies - Prime Cuts Nas - Illmatic (finally.)The Used - Lies for the Liars (The Best Buy version was cheapest and had 2 studio bonus tracks.)Tim Armstrong - A Poet's Life burned these from a friend's hard drive: Glassjaw - Worship and Tribute Jim Gaffigan - Beyond the Pale Christopher Recordings on Sex Instruction (for an explanation of what this is, go here.)Buena Vista Social Club AC/DC - Highway to Hell Cave In - Jupiter/Tides of Tomorrow (EP) Converge - When Forever Comes Crashing The Dillinger Escape Plan - Calculating Infinity From Autumn to Ashes - Too Bad You're Beautiful from Steve: Def Leppard - Hysteria Trivium - The Crusade from my bro: Operation Ivy - Energy (I'm pissed [and embarrassed ] that this went out of print on me before I got around to buying it. Now it's being reissued later this year, but it's just not the same. For as big of a Rancid/Tim Armstrong/Lars Frederiksen/Transplants completist as I am, I should've had this years ago. And I got my brother into Rancid!)from Kirk: The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine from a friend: Nekromantix - Dead Girls Don't Cry The Cramps - Psychedelic Jungle/Gravest Hits (EP) Tiger Army - II: Power of Moonlite from myself: Thursday - Full Collapse (I went ahead and sold my own copy, but not before burning it back to disc.)from various SMB kids: Interpol - Antics (to replace the blank copy I ended up with from the college radio station last year.)Fort Minor - The Rising Tied (to replace the edited copy I burned from the college radio station last year)She Wants Revenge (see above)Fall Out Boy - Infinity on High Incubus - Light Grenades Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists Rise Against - The Sufferer & the Witness I would've burned off all the rest of the full albums I got from you guys and some other odds and ends compilations, but I ran out of blanks. Brand New - Jesus (promo single I took home from work; we have plenty more.)Chris Isaak - Forever Blue (Used buyback for $1. Replaces the one I burned from my brother 4 years ago.)Carole King - Tapestry (Used buyback for $2.)Sade - The Best of Sade (Used buyback for $4.50)Earlier today: Tiger Army - Music From Regions Beyond Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me

Thanks so much! If I'd have known earlier, I would have hooked you up with Fort Minor. I think that's about the only one of those I'd have had to offer...I just noticed Jim Gaffigan, if you got time, that'd be great too.

So your picks turned out to be pretty good after all. They had maybe 9 or 10 CDs in all: 3 copies of Fall Out Boy, 1 of Ludacris, 3 of Bow Wow's latest album, and 1 each of Ne-Yo and Lumidee. (For the uninformed: I won a contest on WABB this past Wednesday. The game is called "What The [Beep] Is That?", where they play a split-second of a song and you have to correctly identify the artist and title. I got in and identified Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder", and I got the 2 aforementioned CDs and a T-shirt. Thankfully it turned out to be a Vault [soft drink] T-shirt, not something with WABB on it.)

Nick, would you mind uploading the Cave-In? (And yeah, both the album *and* EP).
Other stuff I've gotten recently: Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly, Angry Mob (Limited edition for 10 bucks? Not a bad deal.) Tripping Daisy - Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb (Replacing my burned copy, I got a mail order from CD Warehouse.) Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Machine (EP) Harvey Danger - "Little Round Mirrors" single
I probably won't buy anything else until Icky Thump the Tuesday after the coming one. I want to eventually get that QOTSA album based on album cover pwnage and the first single, though. And after that I'll wait at least until my birthday to get stuff.
Since I had extra copies of the Killers and FOB, I sold 'em. As well as quite a few of others.
