October Beirut - The Rip Tide (They came through town and I didn't want to take their show for granted. Didn't like the record as much as I thought I might based on a couple reviews I read.)
Sneaker Pimps - Splinter (Gave a vinyl copy to The Girl for her birthday. Went ahead and downloaded a copy for myself.)
Every Time I Die - Gutter Phenomenon Every Time I Die - The Big Dirty Every Time I Die - New Junk Aesthetic (Above 5 downloaded. ETID was coming to town, so I wanted to be as familiar with their albums as possible before I went.)
Evanescence - s/t (CD, deluxe edition. Bought it more out of obligation than actual enthusiasm for hearing new Evanescence music, but am so glad I did.) Björk - Biophilia (CD, deluxe edition)
Thrice - Major/Minor (Downloaded this to be familiarized for their show, which I ended up not going to because the St. Louis Cardinals ended up forcing Game 7 for that night, which was way more important.)
Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto (CD)
Not even a week into November yet and I've already accumulated as many albums as I did in all of October. I'm trying to get in the habit of just updating on a monthly basis, though, so the brand new stuff will have to wait.

NovemberJane's Addiction - The Great Escape Artist Ice Cube - Kill at Will (EP) Kanye West - The College Dropout (Above 3 ordered from Amazon. Jane's Addiction because I missed the first week sale and didn't want to pay more than $10 for it. Ice Cube to complete his early discography after revitalizing my interest in it after seeing his Behind the Music last summer and seeing Boyz N the Hood for the first time. Kanye due to re-familiarizing myself with TCD better than I ever had before and wanting to replace my burned copy.)Florence + the Machine - Ceremonials (Only have an mp3 copy of Lungs, but I liked "What the Water Gave Me," and to a lesser extent, "Shake It Out," enough that when I saw all the rave reviews this record was getting, I figured I might as well buy it while it's on sale, since I'd probably end up wanting it anyway. I had enough faith that I'd like it that I went ahead and just got the deluxe version while I was at it.)Kanye West - Late Registration (See TCD above. Would've ordered it at the same time as the earlier three, but since I had already reached the "free shipping" threshold, I didn't want to drive up the price more than necessary with the "eligible" seller's price.)Puscifer - Conditions of My Parole (Best Buy never carried this; it was instantly on backorder. The version Amazon was selling was only assembled onto a CD-R once you ordered it from them, otherwise they didn't have it ready for sale. One local music store got one copy in, but had already sold it. Since this comes with one of the Top 5 or 10 album covers of all-time, I went straight to the band website to order it. Sure I had to pay just under $20 by the time S&H was added, but it was so worth it to hold the artwork in my hands.)New Found Glory - s/t New Found Glory - Coming Home New Found Glory - Not Without a Fight New Found Glory - Radiosurgery The Wonder Years - Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing (Above 5 downloaded to not take their show for granted. Never having been a huge NFG fan, their new album is surprisingly great.)City and Colour - Little Hell (Downloaded to not take his/their show for granted.)Cults - s/t Panda Bear - Tomboy Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn Pixies - Trompe le Monde The Rolling Stones - Some Girls Dusty Springfield - Dusty in Memphis Bruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of Town St. Vincent - Actor Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair Barry White - All-Time Greatest Hits (Checked these out from a local library.)Retox - Ugly Animals (Vaguely aware of who some of the band members are, but downloaded this solely due to this description from the album review in Alternative Press: "The cumulative effect of Ugly Animals feels like you've fallen off a skyscraper, stopping in intervals to smash through 37 sheets of plate glass. But you'll want to get back on the elevator to the top floor to take the trip again." Unfortunately, it's not anywhere close to being that awesome. I was hoping for abrasion and dissonance more like the fastest, shortest, most incomprehensible Converge songs.)The Joy Formidable - The Big Roar (They're coming to town. Better study up now.)Ultramagnetic MC's - Critical Beatdown (Travis Barker, whose Give the Drummer Some I was giving my final listens to, named his album after a song on this album, which pre-dates my time, but is apparently a hip hop classic. I'd forgotten Kool Keith was a member. And actually, "Give the Drummer Some" is named after and built on an old James Brown sample, which is the most sampled drum break in hip hop history. What's more, "Give the Drummer Some" contains Kool Keith's lyrics the Prodigy sampled and made famous in "Smack My Bitch Up."The Urge - Bust Me Dat Forty The Urge - Puttin the Backbone Back The Urge - Fat Babies in the Mix [Live] (Above 3, reissued from their independent days, bought at one of their reunion shows last month. Their Magically Delicious album was unavailable for some reason. )

I spent a bunch of time trying to fill in everything I knew about since December 2011 and apparently navigated through other pages, so now everything's been erased.
