I can't believe "Day N Nite" is probably gonna win the whole thing. That song isn't even that good. It's probably my 8th or so favorite out of the 30, so it's not that I love the song either. But what I think this says is that (at least among us 6 or 7) none of us really dislike it. The object of the game is to survive by not being voted out. It's like the opposite of American Idol (where a lack of positive support means you're gone); otherwise someone like Sanjaya would never had made it as far as he did. But this will be quite the unlikely winner. I probably would have placed about 75-1 odds on "Day N Nite" making it all the way through, but here we are. (And this is a close vote. I probably like "Just Dance" just a little bit less.) 23. Kid Cudi- Day N Nite (0)16. Lady Gaga f/ Colby O' Donis- Just Dance (3)

It also helps that I hadn't heard the song until yesterday, when I listened to it on YouTube along with "Boom Boom Pow", specifically for this game. I was never going to vote off a song I'd never heard, and up until that point there were always songs I'd have liked to have seen leave more than one with which I'm right on the fold, which I am with any song I haven't heard, by an artist I had never heard of.
The game came down to great songs I was sick of hearing vs. new songs that were halfway decent. If I could have made it here in the 47-minute time frame in which "Heartless" and "Just Dance" were hanging by a thread, I would have kicked out "Just Dance" and I think "Heartless" would have easily won the last round.

^Based on what I can tell from Pulse, seems to be a fairly even split of original mix vs. Crookers mix on pop stations, a bias in favor of Crookers on rhythmic... but don't know if that's true or not. I know I've heard at least 2 versions, which were more discernable before I'd heard the song a bunch. Now I'm not even sure if I hear more than 1 anymore. Can someone post links to both so I can hear the difference?

This is the main U.S. video, which uses the original version of the song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tln5gGCs1cUThe is the main UK video, which uses the radio edit of the Crookers remix: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVb_t_ao9gw
